I ordered - Size: 4X - Color: RoyalBlueI am a size 22/24 and a large bust DD. This fit nice and comfortably, it does have a a little stretch to it (not a lot) but enough to fit, and be comfortable. The neck line is unique and high so it is nice for the work place to keep the lady's under wraps but still be stylish. I will probably wear with a belt to break up the style a bit and give some coverage to my mid section. The length is great, not to short or long, perfect for the office.My only issue really is the arms ... which is more my issue as I have arm fat (sorry readers). I will definitely wear with a sweater or bolero type cover up for my arms.Over all this is a nice dress, good purchase and would recommend. should anything change as I wear more I will update.Pros:Nice colorStretchy materialNice lengthCons:short on the arms, but that's more personal preference.I do quite a bit of my shopping online, particularly at Amazon, so like you I depend on reviews to be honest so I can make an informed decision. I absolutely loved this dress. I wear a 14 and a LG would have fit perfect. I bought an extra large because of the petticoat and had extra room in breast area. Received lots of compliments. Will buy in another color.

We ordered this dress for my daughter's homecoming dance at high school. We ordered a tulle slip to go underneath it. Together she looked adorable. It was modest and flattering. She felt beautiful. It was comfortable and fit just as we expected on the bodice and waist. I liked the length. I also appreciated the price. It was a lot less than most dresses for the dances.

I ordered a 2XL and the bust for the 2XL says 41.8", so I thought I would have a little bit of extra room. I have more than that. I am one of those people who has to shop for my boobs and not for the rest of my body, so I am not surprised that it is a bit bigger all over. But the bust is bigger than 41.8" I think. But the fabric is beautiful, and the colors are very true to the picture. I think I could have gotten away with an XL, due the 'give' of the fabric, but I am a good seamstress so I will just take it in a little in a few places and it will be just fine. I was wearing a bright floral bra and neon underwear and you can't even tell unless you press the fabric up close. You could totally get away with nude colored underwear and be just fine. A beautiful cloth sash came with the dress, although I forgot to put it on in the photos. This dress came to right below my knees, and has beautiful swing to it. I will pair with a petticoat and it will look amazing. All in all, will order again but maybe one size down.

I love this dress! Based on previous reviewer comments, I decided to go with a size larger than what I normally would have taken. I used the bust size to determine the size since some reviewers complained that it was a bit too large in the bust. The size fits great. The fabric does not feel cheap and has a very slight stretch to it. It came packed pretty tightly, so needed an ironing. I also purchased the Dresstells petticoat for a fuller look, but I can totally see that I'll wear it without the petticoat for a more dressed down look. Overall very happy with the dress. I am considering buying another one in a different color.

This dress is very pretty on. The material is on the thicker side, very much like an actual retro dress, the length was perfect, hitting just past the knees. I would note that the size chart is very much off. I'm a 34DD and wear mostly mediums and the large fits very nicely. I feel like it's made well. The neckline is a bit higher than I expected but that just makes it more appropriate for the period you're aiming for. It also arrived in a few days with the 2 day Prime shipping. All in all a good purchase.

OMG I LOVE THIS DRESS!!!! It looks scary bright and a bit darker yellow in the package but don't worry once you put it on it's perfect and the neckline is so flattering. It's just great all around and for an awesome price.

Ich habe das Kleid genau nach Größentabelle bestellt, meine Taille misst 76cm, ich hatte mir schon Sorgen gemacht, dass Medium nicht passt - laut Angaben passt Medium bei 74cm Taillenumfang - leider ist es um gut 4cm zu groß, auch obenrum (75/80B-75C) habe ich zu viel Platz.Der Rock schwingt schön, ich habe auch den Petticoat mitbestellt, halte ich aber nicht für nötig.Der Ausschnitt ist weiter oben/enger als wie man es vom Bild her vermutet - steht mir in dieser geschwungenen Form leider gar nicht.Insgesamt trägt das Kleid etwas auf - wahrscheinlich weil es einfach überall zu groß ist - es müsste am Oberkörper anliegen.Das Grün ist wirklich schön, auch der Stoff fühlt sich gut an.Bei mir geht das Kleid leider zurück.Maße zur Orientierung: 94, 76, 102, 176cm; 73kg

Ich habe das Kleid erst nach Größentabelle bestellt und dieses war sehr zu groß, habs dann eine Nummer kleiner bestellt. Versand und Retoure ging schnell und ohne Probleme.Das Kleid macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck und scheint sauber verarbeitet zu sein. Die Farben entsprechen genau dem Bild. Ich hatte mir das Kleid für eine 50er Jahre Mottoparty bestellt und bin so begeistert, dass ich es ohne Petticoat auf jeden Fall auch noch im Sommer tragen werde. Auf dem Bild habe ich einen Petticoat drunter, aber es fällt auch ohne schon etwas weiter. Für Frauen mit etwas mehr Kilos, wie ich, kaschiert es super. Frauen mit kleiner Oberweite könnten Probleme haben, da der Brustbereich wirklich sehr groß ausfällt.Alles in allem, finde ich das Kleid super schön und bin sehr zufrieden, mit dem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

I originally tried a large after reading reviews about the sizing. I am busty for my size (36d or dd) 4' 11 normally size 10 -12 but I had put on weight so veering more towards the 12+. The large fitted on the waist circumference with some give but the bodice was too long from shoulder to the waist and the shoulder area was far too large and baggy. I ordered a medium in the hope that the shoulder area would be smaller and it was. The material has a slight stretch to it and the medium fits perfectly everywhere on the body. The length sits mid calf and may need shortened slightly but I am waiting for a petticoat to arrive to see how the dress hangs before I do that. The pattern and colour are as I hoped - the background a pale turquoise/aqua and the flowers are pinky red. I'm hoping Covid emergency measures are relaxed before the end of the summer so I can wear it out - if not, I'll wear it sitting in my garden enjoying a very cold G & T.

This dress is lovely and really well made. I bought it for a wedding but ordered the wrong size. I ordered the medium but should have got the large. (I’m a size 12-14). The material has a little stretch to it so it moves well with your body. For the price I think it’s a bargain.

Super dress well made has elastane so gives a bit of stretch . Wore to Goodwood Revival with the black full petticoat felt fabulous . Did laugh when I spotted 10 other ladies in the same dress or similar all from amazon . Didn’t matter would as made so well .

Beautiful 50s dress! Got lots of compliments. I bought the petticoat from Dresstells (size XL) so I would get a fuller skirt which worked out perfect. I'm usually a size XL/XXL (EU 44) but really didn't want the dress to be too small or have a very tight fit, so I ordered the 3XL. It's a bit large some places (on top) but fits perfect in others, so I'm happy with my choice. I would recommend all to go one size up from what they normally wear :)

Not as advertised. The photograph shows a bow. The item that arrived does not have any sort of wasitbelt or a bow. False advertising, and now I have to go to the trouble of returning it.

I bought this dress for my daughter’s forthcoming wedding. I wasnt expecting much but what I received was so much more. The dress is of very good quality cotton, the dress fitted in all the right places and feels so comfortable. I am not one for wearing dresses and this one I felt excited about. It is exactly as described in the picture. I also chose the lavender under skirt and the two together compliment each other very well. I am so looking forward to the wedding now.

Beautiful dress, fit perfectly, a little more cerise pink than red but that may be a one off, beautifully swishy, stretchy, bought the same dress for my six Yr old but the flowers on her dress were more red, lovely dress.

Im a size 16 so ordered the 3XL as per the sizing guide. Its a stunning dress but ever so slightly too big/baggy at the top even with a large bust. It's instantly one of my favourite dresses and I really don't mind getting it altered to fit perfectly. It doesn't necessarily need a petticoat but would look even better with one. It came a little bit creased but that's to be expected and it'll iton well, the fabric is very good quality.

First of all, the picture I took doesn’t do justice to the dress. It is absolutely gorgeous. I bought for my daughter who is going through a vintage period. The skirt of the dress twirls nicely, the length is just on the knees.Note: you don’t really need the petty coat that is suggested you buy with it unless you want the skirt to be fuller and fluffy all the time.

Hi! Came thru' the letterbox and thought hmmmm!! Not going to be great!!!!!! but the colours are beautiful (black blue and lemon/cream flowers) . Being 5'5" tho' I do want it shortened but that's no prob and with my lovely stiff net underskirts, AHM GONNIE LOOK FAB. Going to order another.

Bought for my mum and it fit her lovely. Sizing is accurate and the Material is comfy. Enjoyed a lovely day as you can see. Would buy again (diff dress obvs)
