Best Speaker I Have Heard For The Price
I would like to say that this speaker is amazing for the price. I have used it at many gigs so far and every one love it! I only purchased one and its way loud enough for whatever occasion you might have. I used this at a big party in a field at my school and this little speaker filled up the whole entire field. One thing I noticed with it was that you cant have a line in and a mic plugged into the back at the same time which stinks a little bit but oh well! The bass in this thing is really chest-pounding for its size. Its really portable and not to heavy, But it still feels sturdy at the same time. I really wish there was a tightening nut or something near where the speaker stand enters because it seams to slouch and not sit upright. The bottom has very nice rubber feat to put it down on the ground if you need to. The CLIP LED Helps a lot as-well, to keep the speaker from bursting. Even if you accidentally have your volume all the way up, It will clip but it wont break your speaker. I hopefully will be purchasing more of these speakers in the future! Pros: Sturdy and light Very Very loud Amazing bass Perfect sounding EQ I would say it's close to audiophile quality! Cons: No tightening bolt/bracket to keep the speaker upright when on a stand Can't run two inputs into the back of the speaker at the same time Conclusion: Amazing Speaker and I would recommend it to any DJ.

Awesome party speaker!
UPDATE!!!!!!! Almost 2 1/2 years after my first review of this speaker i just wanted to say it is still going strong! It has held up to a lot of outdoor and traveling abuse. In fact we even took it to the beach to play music for a beach wedding and it was awesome! lots of great comments on the sound, and yes you can hear it just fine over the loud sounds of the ocean! I still like the sound of this speaker better than most others that are about the same size. Light weight and so easy to transport. I will keep posting updates periodically on this great sounding and economical speaker! I bought this for outdoor parties that we have very frequently with our friends. Typically we are hanging out in the pool, enjoying adult beverages and games, watching music videos, singing and dancing our butts off! We just hooked this speaker up to a laptop and we were off and running. The sound is just awesome! While the bass does not thump, its a nice low clear bass sound. I don't think we have had this speaker turned up over half way yet. We live in the country and don't have to worry about annoying any neighbors, so that should give you an idea how awesome and loud it is. We only bought one and we don't forsee needing another one. Its very rugged and durable yet light weight, it usually just sits on the ground somewhere. And occasionally i forget to bring it in at night, so far so good. So if you are into hanging out with good friends and want an affordable awesome speaker to liven up outdoor parties i would recommend this to anyone!

Unexpectedly nice.. and LOUD.
I had vouched to never buy anything Behringer ever again, because I have had nothing but problems with their gear in the past. I was in the market for a set of powered floor monitors for my rehearsal studio. I blew up my old wedges and my amp was acting up also. So I decided to switch to powered speakers. I use my PA both for vocals and keyboard at band rehearsal (loud rock band) and for my drum students to play along with music. I had a budget of $200 a piece for these powered speakers. The B210D was really the only option out there in my budget. The reviews were all raving, so I took the plunge. I decided to just get one first, in case it was a disappointment. Well, it wasn't. At first, when I took the speaker out of the box, I was thinking "I'm screwed. This thing is way too small and is not going to be powerful enough." Then I plugged it in. Mackie board, XLR cable, iPhone plugged into the board. Holy crap. This thing packs a punch. With your eyes closed, you'd swear it was a speak at least twice the size. It's LOUD. But it doesn't distort. I was able to crank the volume up to pain threshold, where I couldn't possibly go any louder before my head would explode, and the sound was still clear and not distorted. And the volume knob was halfway. This thing sounds really nice, focused and much bigger than it looks. We'll see how it holds up, which has always been the issue with Behringer, but for now, the second one is going to be ordered asap.

Sounds GREAT alone, but with a added subwoofer it is even BETTER
This speaker is a built pretty solid. The sound is loud and clear. In the back there are knobs to adjust the bass, highs and volume. It sounds okay like this but is missing the really deep lows so I ended up buying a Polk PSW10 10" powered subwoofer from amazon when it went down to $88. when hooked up together the sound is much fully and adds a wow effect. I tune volume the sub according to the music I play and put the subwoofer crossover knob in the middle so its not to boomy. I bought the GLS Audio 10 Foot Guitar Instrument Cable - 1/4 Inch TS to 1/4 Inch TS 10-FT and a HOSA 1/4" TRS to 3.5mm stereo adapter. This is what I use to connect the speaker to my iphone. To connect the speaker to the subwoofer, I use a RCA to XLR adapter connected to a XLR microphone cord. The RCA R&L goes into the subwoofer and the other end into the speaker output. Kind of like a daisy chain as they call it. It takes a little tweaking to get the sound just right but it's not hard as you just turn the little knobs in the back of the PA Speaker and Subwoofer until you are satisfied with the results. I will be adding in a mixer when using for karaoke and this will allow me to have more control once all is hooked up. This is good for home style karaoke parties or to watch movies. Without the subwoofer it is only okay. I also have the Behringer B215D 15" powered speaker which is the same but in a larger speaker size. This sounds good by itself for outdoor music but a subwoofer will also fill out the lows, If you are having trouble with your sound not coming out of your speaker, it could be the cable you are using. If you use a 1/4" TRS cable both ends into the 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter, the sound may come out only if you pull the cable 1/2 way out. If you use the same 1/4" TRS cable to a 3.5mm to 1/4" L&R splitter adapter, you have to connect the 1/4" TRS to the LEFT side only to get sound. The RIGHT side of the Y splitter did not produce sound. Hope this helps. Here is some of the cables I used with this hookup. Hosa MHE-100.5 1/4 inch TRS to Right-Angle 3.5 mm TRS Headphone Adaptor Cable, 6 inch GLS Audio 10 Foot Guitar Instrument Cable - 1/4 Inch TS to 1/4 Inch TS 10-FT Brown Yellow Tweed Cloth Jacket - 10 Feet Pro Cord 10' Phono 6.3mm - SINGLE BesYee 3.5mm (Mini) 1/8" TRS Stereo Male to 2 Dual 1/4 Inch 6.35mm Mono TS Female Y Splitter Cable 20cm/8inch (35M-2x635FM) If using this cable with a TRS 1/4" cable, use the left side and not the right.

Works but somewhat underwhelmed.
First powered speaker I've ever purchased. Everything (eq, volume, inputs) worked on it. Not sure what I was expecting, but it didn't impress me enough to keep it. It was pretty loud but thought it should be louder. Kinda' think I may have been over-expecting what I should be getting for the $.

Good speaker, great value
If you're expecting this speaker to sound like a 15-inch cabinet, you're delusional. However, for the price, it's really great. It's louder than you would expect, but it does sound a bit flat like a studio monitor. You can easily get a fuller sound out of it by dialing the bass up to the 3 o'clock mark, but if you want good bass, you're going to need to use a subwoofer with it.

Great Price/Performance Powered Speaker!
For the money...it's really hard to beat the Behringer Eurolive speaker line. I own three other speakers in this series (B212D and B208D) and use them for both my jazz combo and big band gigs. They always have a very nice, clear sound! I set the speakers at half-volume and pretty much leave the bass/treble settings at the 12 O'clock position...and do any EQ work with my PreSonus mixer....sounds good and get no distortion. This new B210D will be a side-monitor for my big band...and a vocal floor monitor for my jazz combo gigs. I recommended this speaker for to my daughter for my granddaughter's gigs (acoustic guitar and vocals) as it has plenty of power and a very smooth sound. She uses a Behringer QX1204USB 12-Channel Mixer for her performances...and a single speaker. Very easy to transport and sounds great! I've been using the Eurolives for 3+ years and am VERY satisfied with the performance and cost!

GREAT, versatile powered speakers
This is my second I've bought of these - I love them. For reference, I play locally (but professionally) as an acoustic act, and about 75% is just vocal and guitar. I use a DI (Fishman ToneDEQ) for the guitar and have both the guitar and vocals (and any other inputs from folks who join in) through a Macke (12fx) board into these. They have great depth of tone and good projection for the price, and are VERY durable. Each are multi-input - an XLR (3 pin mic) and a 1/4" (guitar cable) for each speaker. Though I use them, for now, as my mains in small clubs, they can EASILY be used as self-powered monitors in any larger PA (mixer) setup. They do not need to be mixed, if you choose - you can plug the xlr and/or 1/4" rigjht into them, using their own eq. The can stand or be laid down OR be tripod mounted.
