The mirror arrived well packaged, the double-sided adhesive pad covers the entire mount for the mirror, and in about two minutes I was done. No more shaky mirror. Sweet! No instructions included, so I’d advise cleaning both the rear of the glass and the plastic mounting plate with isopropyl alcohol first to ensure good adhesion.

Fits good on my 2011 Volvo s40. I used liquid gorilla glue instead of the double sided tape pad thing it came with and it hasn’t come off or gotten loose which was my problem with the original one.

To get a Volvo replacement mirror, I was quoted $119 plus freight from CT to CA. This is just the mirror mind you. So I went on Amazon and found this mirror for $22. It isn't a genuine Volvo part, and it doesn't have any special writing on it. But it's a mirror - side mirror and it fits my C30 perfectly. It was easy to install and so far has held up. The only thing I noticed is that it isn't perfect. It is clear and I can see my blind spot fine. But the mirror has a bit of wave in it. It isn't terrible. Kind of like comparing a cheap hand held Walgreen's mirror to one purchased at Sharper Image. It works and that is all that matters. Great price!

I installed this last Spring and now that it has been a cold winter of -40 with no issues I feel that this was a good purchase. The dealership wanted hundreds of dollars to replace the mirror assembly whereas all I wanted was a piece of glass. Shipping did take its time which was annoying but otherwise I think this is a good product.
