Plus Flea and Tick Prevention for Cats, Over 1.5 lbs (3 Dose)

I've been using this on my three cats for the last few months and it seems to work well. At first, I noticed a big increase in fleas as the month progressed, leading me to doubt the efficacy of the treatment, but when I started vacuuming the house more frequently (every couple days) the problem went away. I've found it helpful to aim for the base of the head when applying the treatment, instead of between the shoulder blades. Once, when I applied the treatment too low on his back, my kitten was able to lick it. He freaked out, started drooling uncontrollably and tried to hide. I wiped the liqid off his back as best I could with a wet paper towel and he soon recovered. I waited two weeks (on the advice of a pet store clerk) before reapplying the treatment and he has been fine ever since.

It works really well it would seem that all those collars you put on the cats are more for decoration. This works much better.

Got this for our new kitten. I have used it twice on him now. I don’t feel the first application killed all his fleas but I did another application 30 days later and I feel it worked well. I don’t notice any fleas or him itching now. I liked that It seemed to soak into his fur quickly and it didn’t have a harsh smell. I feel for the price this is a good product.

APRIL 2023 UPDATED 3 1/2 month review- I am seeing an improvement at the 3.5 month mark of using this product every 30 days on my 8 month old petite cat. The eggs that I'm seeing in her bedding daily are a yellowish brown and I believe that that means they are dead eggs. I haven't seen or felt a flea in 3 days. She is scratching her neck 2-3 times a day, lightly. Keep in mind that I clean and vacuum and wash everything daily still. Wow...it does take months because of the thousands if not millions of eggs that are already lurking in your home when you see that 1st flea. Eggs can hibernate for over a year, waiting to hatch. So, when you think the fleas are gone and you stop vacuuming and washing daily.....more eggs continue to hatch.You must be vigilant for months, after they're under control.They are still in your vehicles, mattress, curtains, yard and so on.I'm going to continue for another 3 months and update again.Original review- I waited until I used the 3rd dose to write this review for the 3-pack.My 8 month old Cat still has fleas and eggs on her and larvae in her bed.I keep a very clean home and a neat, clean Cat area that I clean, wash and vacuum daily.My Cat has been scratching her neck area. I noticed it 3 1/2 months ago when she started scratching every once in a while and then I saw the flea larvae worms in her bedding. Yuck! I've never had a flea issue before and didn't want it to get out of hand.I purchased this 3-pack and began a cleaning/vacuuming regimen (throwing the bag away in the garbage bin outside each time.I also made a DIY vinegar dawn and eucalyptus oil mixture to spray curtains furniture mattresses carpet and me!I honestly feel if I hadn't made the spray mixture, my home would be terribly infested by now.The drops didn't do anything after the 1st Dose so I thought maybe I did something wrong when applying (because another review said works well if applied correctly). After the 2nd dose...same thing, nothing improved for my poor kitty. She wasn't scratching much and couldn't visibly see fleas on her, just eggs, larvae and flea dirt (blood spots, dried blood specs) in her bedding. We would see a flea or get bitten about once a day. It wasn't terribly bad thank goodness but those little fleas are sneaky little boogers! A flea egg can lay in a "limbo state" in your furniture, bed,carpet for over a year until it has a warm host near. Then it hatches and the cycle repeats! That's why it's vital to continue your flea extraction regimen for 6 months AFTER you think they are completely gone. When your home has fleas, it has millions of microscopic flea eggs all over your mattress, floor, clothes, furniture. I took a black plate and put it next to our recliner, then I ran my hand across the recliner armrest. Hundreds of teeny tiny eggs landed on the plate! Yuck, gross! And we keep a clean home...this innocent cute little kitty was a flea carrying egg dropping machine...lol. Poor thing!So... This Flea treatment 3 month supply did not work for our cat.Thumbs down review...F-

I think the headline pretty much says everything. I was a bit nervous about applying it the first time but, it's absolutely simple and didn't bother the cat a bit. She got a treat anyway.

Wasted my hard earning money!!!! I had a mother and 4 kittens. Treatments did nothing. I had bought 2 boxes( $50+) for zero help. I attempted to do a return with amazon, but since a bought 2 with 6 doses (3 per box) I threw away 1 box and kept the extra dose in remaining box. Well amazon wanted pkgs returned.( I only have 1 of the 2) and didn’t offer the scan return I could do on my phone. I would have to print label. So at this point I said forget it. Poof another billion dollar company selling a product that isn’t effective, still raking in the dough!!!!!

Zoguard Plus does a great job of keeping our cat free of fleas and, so far, ticks. It works better than the collars that use a different ingredient. The applicator could be improved to be able to access the skin in cats with thick fur.

This is a good product for fleas, it repels fleas. I've not seen any fleas on my inside or outside cats definitely recommend this product.
