I’m not sure why it’s so damn expensive. But it’s amazing to hear the teachings of Jesus translated from Aramaic. It shows that a lot of the teachings were actually mistranslated. Some of them, blatantly and others by accidentally changing the context. This is a MUST for followers of Jesus who are seeking the Truth.

This is a great Bible for study and personal reflection. Very Easy to read and understand. Of all the bibles I've had in my lifetime, I highly recommend this one.

If you look at the history of this translation you will find that Lamsa is the ONLY translation of the Syriac Peshitta (arguably the oldest original Scriptural writing) done by a native Aramaic speaker who grew up near the very same region Christ grew up. It preserves the meaning of the word. This is my go-to for understanding God's Word! Highly recommended.

This bible has more of the translations. In other versions a ton of the text got removed during the translation, this book is much closer to the original manuscripts than say the king james.

The version is great. Quality good !

I like Lamsa's interpretation from the Eastern source. I thought it would be more like his other books on the New and Old Testament Light. There, he delves into the culture of the time in correlation with Biblical History and other sources.
