I chose this brand because the doctor who administered pure DHA to save the miners in West Virginia backed this product. I’m over 70, still working a full time role in my company, and clear minded. Whether it is due to this DHA or the combination of supplements or not, I will never know. My family lives to 90 or more. My job is to do what I can to stay physically and mentally healthy to the end. I work with military health and know that DHA is recommended, especially for brain recovery.

now to regulate an irregular heart beat. Had been buying direct from Martek but was having a problem completing the order online this last time. Sent an email requesting help but never got a response! So, decided to check on Amazon for it. Ended up getting it cheaper per bottle and free (Martek stiffs you for this!) shipping! Their poor customer service saved me money! The moral of this story: When all else fails go to Amazon. They will always come thru for you!

These pills are perfect for the vegetarian woman who becomes pregnant. I'm able to find amazing raw & vegetarian prenatal vitamins but they don't include any DHA (very important for a developing baby!). I searched and was very happy to find these vitamins. So far, healthy baby and healthy mommy - can't complain. My only reason for deducting a star was that the price is outrageous. If there were any similar competition that were vegetarian and less expensive, I would purchase them. But this is not a reflection of the product or its uses.

My wife used this DHA supplement throughout her pregnancy and is very satisfied with it. She tried a couple other supplements before using this and those smelled very bad. But this one has been great for her since the beginning.

This is the same DHA found in my prescription prenatal vitamins. It doesn't give me fish burps like others I've tried. I believe the potency and quality of this product is better than the other omega 3 supplements I've used, based on the way I feel. It really helps with my dry eye and mood swings. This product in the prescription prenatal vitamins is FDA regulated, so I'm guessing they just have better quality control all around.

Very expensive, there are alternatives

This is a quality product recommended by Dr. Roizen of the the Cleveland Clinic, I take it with my fish oil as a means of getting additional DHA in vegetarian form. Purchasing it on Amazon is more reasonable than buying it from the Cleveland Clinic.
