You'll need this tool to remove and install Honda's Damper (Harmonic Balancer) Crankshaft Bolt.
My 2005 Honda Accord V6 needed a new timing belt. So I used this tool to hold the Crankshaft Pulley during crank bolt removal. I also used it when re-installing the crank bolt.Insert a 1/2" breaker bar or ratchet wrench into this tool and then slide it into the Damper pulley with the bar/wrench wedged against a cross member. Now you can use your 19mm impact socket on the crank bolt.If your 19mm impact socket is the special "high-mass" type then it won't fit in this tool. But that's not a problem because a high-mass socket is intended to be used with an impact wrench, so this tool is not needed. But regardless, you'll definitely need this tool when re-installing the crank bolt with a standard 19mm socket and torque wrench. If this is your first time removing a Honda crankshaft bolt then I will warn you that it is a frustrating experience. I highly recommend watching multiple YouTube videos that describe the procedure (search for Honda Timing Belt videos). There are different techniques (Impact Wrench, Breaker Bar / Cheater Bar, MAP Torches, High Mass Sockets, Bump Start, etc.) and it's nice to know all the available tricks to remove the stubborn bolt.
