Mac Book Pro Charger, Replacement 60W L-Tip Magsafe 1 Power Adapter Charger for Mac Book and 13-inch Mac Book Pro (Before Mid 2012 Models) (X-Large)

Bought this replacement to replace a chewed up original charger. Years ago my dog thought the charger end was his chew toy. At that point the MacBook Pro went into the closet due to its age and the cost of a replacement. This past week I decided to see if I can revive the now 10 year old MacBook Pro. Looking for a new charger I choose this charger because it looked similar to the original. Second was the price, I wasn’t willing to spend the high price for the original.Shipping only took a day from the time I ordered till I received it. Opening the package the charger end did look like the original. The only difference is the cable is slightly thinner then the original. It is roughly the same color and length as the original. The weight of the power pack is lighter then the original equipped one. Plugging it in for the first time I was a little worried however, the little green light soon turned to orange and the device was charging. Day two and the 2009 MacBook Pro 13 inch is fully charged. At this point I’m very pleased with the replacement charger. I would recommend giving this a try if you have a old MacBook Pro like this. The only issue I have is what to use the MacBook Pro for.

I was a little leery when I purchased this product thinking it wouldn’t be the exact same and the MacBook wouldn’t except a charge from this unit. but I was pleasantly surprised when I received my charger that everything it was exactly the same as my old one. With two exceptions: the cord which was probably three or 4 inches shorter than the one that I came with the computer. No big deal there, because it serves the same exact purpose and charges the computer like the old one. Other than the cord be in a few inches shorter than the original and the block being a few ounces lighter than the original I don’t see any difference whatsoever in this product from the original. I would definitely buy another one from this seller in the future. Overall great product and would be happy to buy again

Honestly didn't know I could find such an affordable charger for my Macbook. Yes, you might be sacrificing a bit of the cord length, but the quality and durability is great, and that's all that matters. Super good value.

I was worried that this would not work well. However, I didn’t have $80 to spend on an apple charger for my very old MacBook Pro. I am so relieved that this charging cord works wonderfully and I can’t tell a difference...and for a fourth of the price!

I've paid full price for apple charger units and for the knockoffs, and this charger is good value for the price. After paying $75 for an applecharger which ended up lasting me a year and a half this last run... I'd rather purchase one at this half price and it will last me 6-8 months of heavy use... so a little bit cheaper in the long run and still does the job.

Needed to replace the original cords to our mid-2012 MacBook Pro's.. These arrived on time and were in great condition. Purchased one for my wife and one for myself. They are both working just fine and our MacBook's don't seem to know the difference.

My original charger died for my macbook pro (still chugging along with my 2012 model). I needed a new one but refuse to pay $80 from Apple. I tried this one and it works perfect.
