Diy oil painting, paint by number kit- Sunny Beach 16*20 inch.

good product although i didn't realize the canvas is a soft clothlike material that arrived folded up- not stiff like i expected. The painting would have to be mounted on a frame to display. Have had a little problem with the paints being a little thicker than i like but despite them being oil paints i could still thin them with water and it works fine. There was plenty of paint to cover the entire canvas. These types of paints are a little harder to blend or mix with other colors than the water based paints but all in all i like it pretty well. there is more of a variety of colors than other paint by number kits i have used plus 3 sizes of brushes

Beautiful picture, but it came folded up. Took it to a framer and that middle crease would have never come out even stretched. If it had been rolled instead of folded I could have stretched it on a frame before painting on it. I did finish it tho and framed it as good as I could. The paints are thick because they are suppose to be piled on rather then painted on like acrylics. This is to look like an oil painting when it is completed which it does. I have done oil paintings as well. Oils dry shinny. These are actually acrylic paints to look like oils. Great concept. Before you try and frame it, let it cure out before framing about 2 weeks. Never put glass over an oil or acrylic painting as the painting will eventually stick to the glass and come off.

Great product. People complain that the canvas wasn’t creased but mine came folded up and I didn’t have any issues with it. You also have to confirm if you’ve selected the “frameless” or “framed” option. I chose the frameless because it was cheaper and I wanted to get my own frame for it. The big brush is basically useless. There’s few areas big enough to use it and it doesn’t need cover well. Some of the paints were thinner than others so it took a couple coats of those ones to cover the numbers but the paint dries so fast it wasn’t an issue. Overall pleased and plan to buy another.P.S.. I had TONS of paint left over so they definitely don’t skimp on the paint!

I took all the even numbers and I gave my boyfriend the odd numbers to paint and the goal was to finish this together so we can frame it. It's been a long few months and I'm sure I've heard "this is taking forever" atleast 10-too-many times.Pros-->> The colors had nice pigmentation and everything was clearly labeled>> Good sized canvasCons-->> Brushes were cheapy little things and did not work well. Might as well buy your own set, otherwise you're setting yourself up for a stressful art project>> You may get carpal tunnel

Worked up nice, reminds us of our vaca to Bermuda, this was one of the easier ones we have bought. just be sure and mount on stretcher bars before painting, makes it much easier to paint and hang. Also after mounting before you paint wet the canvas generously ( we use a wash cloth) from the back, let dry for an hour or so and like magic all wrinkles and folds are gone. Try it you will be pleased.
