Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl: Easy Piano Solo

These songs are fairly easy to play for emerging pianists, and fun to listen to.

What the heck does selectively excellent mean? It means that As far as quality, I thought all the songs were well written however, I was only interested in playing half of them. My favorites were The Medallion Calls ( a good piece for a solid intermediate going on to advanced student), He's a Pirate (more advanced chords and rhythm than Mefdalion Calls) , and The Black Pearl. Very fun to play! I also own the easy piano version but this version is way more fun to perform!

I am a music teacher and I bought this book to use for a "movie/musical themed" recital. My students love this book, and there is a waiting list for the next one to check it out from my music library. The level of pieces range from late elementary to mid-intermediate, and the arrangements sound full and true to the movie soundtrack even though they are simplified for the younger player.

I love fifeing. The music is easy to follow. I wanted to play he's a pirate for the kids.It's today's music they can relate to it.They love being included. Growing up I used to ask my uncle to play Wild thing.

Great collection for piano with easy to read music. My son plays violin and he's able to play the melody off the top line while I play piano.

Mein Sohn war vom Klavierspielen etwas frustriert, weil es für seinen Anfänger-Level nicht so recht voran ging.Durch das Erarbeiten dieser schönen und bekannten Lieder hat er wieder richtig Spaß und für uns ist es ein schöner Zuhörgenuß.

Ein einfaches Notenheft, was auch aussen auf dem Umschlag mit "Easy Piano Solo" vermerkt ist. Schöner Hochglanzeinband. Noten für 7 Hauptstücke/-melodien des Films. Hatte das Heft für unseren Sohn für Keyboard bestellt, da ich mich durch vorangegangene Rezension (dass es sich auch für Keyboard eignet) dazu verleiten lassen habe. Allerdings sind es reine Klaviernoten - es gibt keine Akkorde für Keyboardspieler (daher 1 Stern Abzug). Ich war etwas enttäuscht, aber das Zurücksenden nach UK war mir dann doch zu umständlich und da die Melodien bzw. Noten einfach geschrieben und für Anfänger ausgelegt sind, trotzdem empfehlenswert. Da unser Sohn ein Fan der Filme ist, hat er die Melodien gut im Ohr, findet auch selbst die passenden Akkorde und auch seine Lehrerin im Keyboardunterricht unterstützt ihn dabei, die Stücke auf Keyboard umzuschreiben. Keyboardspieler mit ein wenig Erfahrung oder Unterstützung beim "Umschreiben" können die Noten für die rechte Hand auf jeden Fall nutzen.

Hier sind alle Lieder des Films Pirates of the Caribbean leicht arrangiert in dem Buch enthalten. Unsere Tochter spielt die Stücke sehr gerne.
