I have been wanting to eat more walnuts. I wanted organic ones only. There is so much written about how excellent walnuts are for your health. Their form resembles the brain. These walnuts are fresh and crisp. Everything the company explains about them makes you feel good about your purchase. I thank the farmers for what they do for the consumer and the environment.

These are not black walnuts but they do have a very nice deep flavor to them. Much better then most store bought walnuts that sometimes have very little flavor at all. If you are a fan of walnuts then you may wish to give this a try. I do like them. These taste nothing like American style walnuts.

Very fresh, tasty, not bitter. I soak them in water and salt for 12 hours. Drain. Wash and put them in the dehydrator for about 9 hours. They taste crunchy and wonderful! I always buy this brand because I have found them to be reliable.

The walnuts were rancid when i opened the bag - i could smell it and they tasted awful.

In two bites found few ok tasting pieces, but largely old and slightly rancid. Some pieces were even bitter. I tried 3 different times and spit the last two bites out and rinsed out my mouth. I’d happily pay more for good walnuts but these were a big disappointment.

They were rancid. Went directly to trash. Maybe they are fresh in the fall or early winter.

The walnuts were very rancid and went into the trash. I've researched nuts for years. I know that fresh organic walnuts are a "super food." I also know that when nuts become rancid It is damaging and dangerous to eat them,because they are carcinogenic---which, as I'm sure sure you know, means cancer-causing.

This is the third time we bought those, this time two boxes, as we eat them too quickly. These are without a doubt the freshest and tastiest walnuts I had a chance to taste in the UK for the last 30 years: they actually taste of walnuts and have not a hint of being rancid or stale, reminding me for the first time of the walnuts I have eaten as a child many years ago (I grew up in Montenegro). Thank you sooo much for bringing them to the UK market and please do continue doing so! Five star rating is simply not enough for such wonderful products - well done to the farmers in Transylvania for growing them with such respect towards nature - it they did not, the walnuts would not taste so good.

I bought one box of these walnuts recently, loved them and decided to buy again. This time, the pack arrived with live moth-like insects crawling around inside the sealed plastic bag, with cobweb-type crud and insect parts all over the nuts. Very disappointed, will not buy again.

I wanted to like these but they didn’t taste good.Walnuts are so sensitive to heat and light. It seems most of the time I buy nuts in a transparent plastic bag they don’t taste good.I feel these would probably be better if originally packed in better packs. I couldn't eat these. I didn’t request a refund though.

I really really really love this company and wanted to love these walnuts. I bought them twice. Each time, at least half the nuts in the package were rancid and shriveled. I just can't justify buying them any more even if other products from this company are wonderful. (Which they are.) I think these walnuts have just been sitting around too long in the warehouse?? A pity.

It's hard to get fresh tasting walnuts and I usually go for them in the shell, having perfected the perfect cracking technique. These ones come in as a close second and save the work and debris.
