These are a huge improvement over the already stellar ZSN! I am a big fan of the original ZSN, so much so that I purchased extras to give as gifts.The appearance hasn't changed a lot, but then it already looked amazing and high quality. The new shells now come in blue... Yay! The metal face plates have raised accents rather than the cut out look of the original and only have one air vent instead of three. This helps with blocking out external noise and allows less of your music to leak out to disturb others around you. The aluminum and resin shells have a nice, satisfying weight to them that imparts a sense of quality without being uncomfortably heavy. There is a nice lip on the metal nozzles to keep the tips from coming off inside your ear. The replaceable cable is the same as before. It is durable and upgradeable if a bit prone to tangling. Using a velcro cable tie when putting these away helps prevent tangles. Still, it's replaceable if it fails or if you just want to upgrade it. Kinboofi has some beautiful cables for these. I own several.Now, the sound! The original ZSN is known for its smooth, non-abrasive sound. This was important because many budget iems tend to have harsh, sibilent treble. Not the ZSN or happily the ZSN Pro either. The ZSN Pro now has much better treble response and mid range clarity from its balanced armature. The improved airy sound leads to a much larger soundstage. Instruments sound like they come from outside your head, rather than being overly close and intimate. Mids have much better detail and you can hear where every instrument is placed in the mix.... left-to-right and front-to-back on the stage.The lower frequencies are now handled by the excellent dynamic driver from the CCA C10. This is good news! Bass is tighter, faster and better textured than before. Low frequency response extends deeper and plays with more authority, detail and control. I hope they use this driver in more products. Its great.I don't usually write reviews this long but, I was excited about these iem's. I keep track of Chinese audio gear by following internet forums. I am glad that Kinboofi now sells their gear on Amazon rather than having to wait on shipping from their China store as before!As always, Kinboofi is a great seller and has been very helpful! I hope they stock the upcoming KZ ZS10 Pro as well.... hint hint.... 😀 I will be first in line to purchase them.Great job KZ!

I don’t play with a live band with a click track, so I can’t speak to that user experience. However, I “play along” to recordings and drumless tracks alot, and for years I’ve just trashed my ears by listening to music on full blast through my ear buds, just to be able to hear the music over my playing.With these bad boys, I’m able to hear the music over my drumming and only have the volume up to maybe half capacity. It’s a beautiful thing!If you’re in a similar boat, and you’re reading this review, then yes, you need these!

Unbeatable value for money. No complaints!

They sound excellent, the only downsides are that in addition to being a bit bright, they drop off in the bass region too soon, and are probably best for critical listening (to find details in recording), or listen to classical music or any other kind of music that might be bass heavy and want to tone it down to listen to what’s actually being played in the bass region.

Exelete su acabado y cálida, por el precio que tiene son perfectos, cambie el cable por el de plata, los que trae no son malos, pero quise probar ya que muchos indicaban que mejoraban el sonido y en realida fue muy poca la diferencia, de pronto para un oído más experimentado si lo nota, pero para mí no.

I was hopeful about these when I first read the reviews and the dual magnet dynamic driver. Using the same set up, iPhone and nx1 amp I directly compared these to my previous KZ ZSR. They are brighter in the treble. Overall, I can’t run them flat eq like the zsr I had to cut the treble a tad and boost the bass. They are pretty good sounding and awesome built for 23 bucks but spend the 28 and get the triple driver zsr , the bass is better and the overall sound is way better for all types of music. Sadly I knew instantly these weren’t as good although I’m letting them play a bit and will try again some more. The zsr had a much better over all sound and the mids are better and less fatiguing highs. These actually might be a tad more comfy and the shell looks super cool and the connectors are probably better but the previous ones were good as well. I don’t know what the reviews I read were talking about rating these so high, I’ve tried a few KZ headphones and while these don’t have any major flaws like some others, they just aren’t as good as some previous models. I tried the same tips I used on the zsr so the fit was the same, but bass was less. Tested with Spotify in highest settings and eq flat for starters but had to adjust and still couldn’t get them to sound right.

The sound quality is fine, the response is relatively flat but just a touch heavy on the bass. The problem is the durability. Within two months of owning these headphones, the cable on the right side started to give out and eventually went dead. That was an easy fix since cables are replaceable but annoying as it’s half the price of the headphones. About three months in the left earpiece started getting noticeably quieter to the point where I have to set the balance on my phone all the way to the left. What baffles me is that there’s no loose wires or broken connections visible and the external components are pretty solid so I don’t know why I’m experiencing these durability issues. I’d say they’re perfect for a spare set to keep around the studio.

Pour leurs prix ils sont absolument au-dessus de mes attentes le sont est riche cristallin très défini autant sur les basses que les hautes fréquences. Par contre petit point a noter le support passant dernière l'oreille pourrait être plus rigide car il faut souvent replacer les oreillette qui glisse sous leur poids donc le support ne sert peu ou à pas grand chose

Die in ear Hörer sind bei mir als Monitor fürs mikrofonierte Schlagzeug eingesetzt. Mit eingemischter Musik zum Üben und schützt die Ohren mit guter Dämpfung. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

These earphones sound amazing! I listen to some 192kHz 24bit DSD reel to reel recordings on Youtube via my 2023 MacBook Air sound card with 96kHz 32-bit float output to the 3.5mm jack and I feel like the singer and musicians are right here with me in my room. Pro tip for MacBook owners: search Spotlight for “Audio MIDI Setup” app and select the 96kHz output. It was 48kHz by default!The only thing I don’t like are the ear hooks pressing on my gentle ears so I simply don’t put them on. The earphones fixate in ears perfectly without the hooks.Finally, if a small rigid carrying case would be included I would be on seventh heaven.
