Workhorse pump
Have had my for 3.5 years and is a work horse. Ran 24 -7 and i normally have to get a new one about 3 to 4 years. Very happy and easy to replace. I have always had Little giant pond pumps and our pond is 3300 gallons and 10 foot water fall.

Works great. Seems to be better quality and produces much more water flow than comparable pumps purchased from Lowes. Well made, very heavy. Added a float switch sold by others which has saved me several times when leaf basket became clogged.

Stopped working after one season. This is my 3rd L.G. pump in 2 years. I installed a similar pump of a different make and it's lasted several years without incident.

Buyer beware
I was just informed that the broken impeller blade on my larger Lil Giant water pump could not be replaced! There are no impeller blade replacements. Though the motor runs fine, I have been told that I need to buy a whole new pump. What a rip off.

Updated: TWO pumps Failed in less than two years and Warranty is a huge hassle
I have owned many pumps over the years, and have dealt with Franklin pumps before which is a little giant. This pump was approximately $350 and now it is $600. The pump failed after less than 2 years. They have now made a huge hassle of Warranty making you send information to them, then telling you after they receive the information that you have to go through the seller. The seller then tells you that you have to physically take something off the pump and mail it into them within 14 days and then they’ll send you the pump. They refused to accept email version of anything, even though Franklin pumps required me to send an email version of the invoice before telling me I would have to go to someone else.Update: after a huge hassle with Web pond supply the seller at Amazon, I finally received a replacement pump, but then in a year and a half the second pump went out. These pumps clearly are not suitable for use on a waterfall despite their representative saying they are. This is now the fifth or sixth Franklin pump I have replaced over the years. Obviously I’m going to have to go with another brand.Overall not a great experience with the Little Giant pump or the company or the seller.
