Very satisfied
The media could not be loaded. A lot of reviews complained how thin this pan is. Well it is thin, thin enough to control the heat like instantly. Very easy to season and with the right cooking technique ‘hot pan cold oil’, nothing sticks on the pan and every cooking experience with it is pure joy.I am not saying this pan is perfect for everyone but it is just right for me.

Great except for the handle
I'm 4'10" so the handle is a bit long, and with that angle, makes holding the pan awkward and a little difficult.Other than that, it's great.

Warped bottom
Terrible pan. The pan is very thin. The bottom is not level and rocks back and forth on the stove top.Strongly advise against getting this pan unless you want to just cook on 1/2 the pan.

Nice 1-1.5mm carbon steel pan.
Product arrived quickly. I love the weight compared to cast iron. It heats quickly and evenly.I had a small burr on handle opening. I used my manicure set to file it off. This pan is for medium heat and can only go in the oven for less than 10 minutes at 400°F max.

Eggs stick unless SWIMMING in butter
My wife bought me this pan, when we met I was a breakfast cook. We wanted not to have to buy a new pan every couple of years because th nonstick coating wears out. I seasoned the pan as website said. Now my wife says no more eggs for a while because she’s grossed out. I keep trying to make it work but I can’t cook an egg probably. It’s great for steaks. Clean up for steaks is easy but not for eggs. In order to get an egg not to stick butter must be standing across bottom of pan. The pan is too small for two steaks unless fillets.

This is the 1mm line (La Lyonnaise)
Note these are 1mm pans. Google the code in the product name for all De Buyers on amazon (e.g. 5020.30) to see what line they're from, since the descriptions aren't always very helpful. These may be okay pans for some uses, but I recommend at least the 2mm line. If you want something lighter than the 3mm Mineral/Carbone lines, go with a Mauviel M'Steel pan. I love mine. These 1mm pans are more prone to warping and hot spots. You could probably use it like a wok pretty well, but it'd require attention to make sure you didn't burn anything since it will transfer heat VERY quickly. This may be the right pan for you, just make sure you know what you're buying. This will require certain techniques and is different from a 2mm or 3mm steel pan.

Fine for the oven ...
This is a very thin pan. Immediately deformed on my stove top and became a "spinner". Probably fine for oven roasting but stove top use (for me) is worthless.

Expensive spinning top.
Very light! Unfortunately thats probably why it warped horribly on the first use. Fried egg on low-med heat... Immediately returned. I dont need a $50 top.
