Jeacent Universal Window Air Conditioner Support Bracket No Drilling ,No Tools, Heavy-Duty Window AC Bracket Supports Up to 200lbs, Fits Single or Double Hung Windows

I bought this to be able to support the weight of my new 8000 BTU window air conditioner without it putting too much stress on my new Hurricane window which is made of vinyl and very heavy glass. I also wanted a way to mount it without having to drill any holes in the windows which would void the warranty. A window support bracket seemed to be the best way to accomplish this. I read the various virtues of the different products in this price range on Amazon and decided on this one. I was surprised when I opened the box and discovered that Jeacent had changed the design a bit which made it much easier to configure and install. There are now push pins in the support legs that make it really easy to find the exact place to lock them in and once you found the right position for one leg, mark the opposite side and slide that support leg to it and you're done! They do recommend using the included Hitch Pins & Clips to lock the support legs in. I did this entirely from my open window and it took me less than 10 minutes. I did use a level to make sure it provided a downward tilt to allow the A/C unit to drain. Once I put the A/C in the window, it stayed in place placing no pressure on the bottom of the window nor on the sill below. To make sure the window could not be opened from the outside I measured from the top of the bottom window to the top of the window itself and then cut two pieces of 1/2" x 2" wood slats that tightly fit into that space.

Sturdy, easy to set up and take down. Ive used these for two seasons so far without any issues. Definitely worth the money for having the piece of mind that my unit won't fall several stories down to the ground.I will say thay it can be hard to mount the feet against the exterior wall, it takes a bit of trial and error, but once it's on, it's on!

This is quite easy to put together and place in the window. It adjusts easily to the width of the window and the distance to the outside wall. The only problem (and at least one other review mentioned this, so I was prepared!) is that since most window AC units are meant to sit right on the window frame, having this bracket in the way raises the unit a little, which leaves an air gap underneath it. Have some extra foam strips on hand to close the gap on the bottom. This gap also prevented me from properly securing the side flaps of the AC unit to the window frame, so I duct taped them in place.

It is easy to use and has no hassle, hole, screw and removable during winter. I brought two more and gave them to my tenant to use to prevent them from using screw holes if they choose to move.

They see is still hanging outside the window so I'd say this thing deserves the five star rating. I'm using it in an RV travel trailer and it works great because I'm not able to drill these things into the walls or window sill since there isn't one.

I struggled for awhile trying to fit the Midea support bracket into my window. There just weren't holes where I needed them to be, and the spaces between the holes were too large. I couldn't make the support bracket fit. This one saved the day. It was so much easier to put together and fit level into the window. I don't have water leaking and the air conditioner is working great. Also, this bracket is very sturdy. It will take a lot of weight. However, the rear of the portion that sits outside the window is quite long and I couldn't shorten it as much as I would have liked to. Still, I think it's great. It was worth spending the money for.

Was a day late. But easy to instal. only problem is that it didn’t fit my LG 6000 btu ac correctly. I made it work tho with extra sealing around the bottom. Thing is very sturdy. I could Deff stand on it if I wanted to so it’ll hold a very large ac.
