The Knowledge of the Holy: The Attributes of God (AW Tozer Series Book 2) Kindle Edition

This book has been quoted many times in other books I’ve read so I finally got around to reading it. I highly recommend it To expand your view of God. Being written in 1961 it’s a little bit old-fashioned and has a lot of big words. Reading it on the Kindle you can easily see the definitions of words which helps me a lot. There are many versions online— the one I purchased is from General Press. First, they did not put the true original publication date in the book. I don’t know if they changed or edited the book at all. None of the Bible references were footnoted. It had quite a few typos, occasionally making it hard to understand that sentence when the mistake was another real word. But I figured out what it was supposed to say. Still, for the price it was an ok version. high stars for the book Content and deducting one is for the little less than great editing.

Recommended reading by my Sunday School teacher. Deep thoughts and solid theology- taking my time reading and digesting the information

Tozer's writing helps bring into focus the pre-eminence of God. It is eye opening and soul satisfying. It opened my heart and built a desire to know God more.

I was built up and encouraged by the thorough attempt to present scriptural understanding of abstract concepts such as holiness and omniscience that can only be found in completeness in God.I consider it an important book for the library of any Christian student.

Aiden Tozer is my favorite Christian author. His writings are honest and sincere, filled with Godly wisdom. I wish I would have discovered him earlier in my Christian walk.

VERY GOOD TEACHER

I experience a sense of love and knowledge from Dr Tozer that brings God alive to me in describing the many attributes of our heavenly Father. I pray that I may be an obedient and loving son to my holy Father in heaven as He cares for me on Earth.

What a fantastic read, Mr Tozer really breaks down the reality of the all powerful all majestic and glorious God that we serve. In modern “Christianity” it is very easy to be pulled into being a Luke warm believer, however this book brings you back to the reality of God and helps you press into relationship with Him.

A brilliant book about the attributes of God. This is done in a simple way and with practical outworking is a good read for anyone wanting to know God bettet.

A wonderful, inspired set of musings on God, amazing to think Tozer had no formal theological training! Beautiful, deep stuff, absolute bargain.

This short book explains very well the attributes of Christ. The book is a good launch pad fir greater study on the subject. I would thoroughly recommend it.

This is a wonderful inspirational book. But beware. This version is full of typos. Buy from another printer.
