Masquerade Mask For Men Phantom Of The Opera Mask Prom Mardi Gras Haloween Venetian Half Face Mask

Great product, it looks awesome!...and great service too....the mask was a little too wide for my face -- when I strapped it on it stuck out on the sides. I could stretch it back with the ribbons and use the force to pull in the sides and thus make it fit better against the sides of my face. However, that was a bit uncomfortable, and not ideal. Further, because the ribbon connection point on the mask (on right side) was lower than my right ear, the ribbon had to run up over my ear before going back to meet the other ribbon and be tied in the back...so that routing of the ribbon caused the mask to ride up when it was tied on snugly, and caused the eye-hole to not align perfectly with my eye. Bummer. SO, I contacted the company using contact info on the invoice I received and asked them if they thought I could easily modify the mask. I told them I wondered what the mask was made of and whether I could possibly use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm it up and bend it inward slightly. They said the mask is made of plastic and said that a hair dryer MIGHT work. I told them I'd accept full responsibility for any goofups...and that I was going to try. Anyway, I tried it and it worked perfectly....I warmed it up in the areas where I wanted to bend it, and was able to bend the mask in slightly and then held it there until it cooled. I then used some hot glue to move the mounting point for the ribbon on that side....now it's perfect! Wearing it for a big Gala masquerade ball tomorrow night!

It's a little stiff and a tad big for my face, but I'm not surprised. I usually have to wear child size hats. However, it was the perfect touch for a Phantom of the Opera inspired photo shoot that I did. It's beautiful!!

My husband got this for a Mardi Gras fundraiser and got quite a few compliments on it. It was comfortable to wear for the most part. It is a tie in the back style, which seemed to loosen throughout the night. I think an elastic strap would have put it in the 5 star category. If he wears it again, I may try to put and elastic band on it.

The mask does not look like it does in the photograph. The detail work it smaller, the silver comes farther down on the cheek, the finish over the colour is not smooth and shiny but instead more matte and crackled, and the music notes are a different font (slighter smaller and sharper, not as soft looking). If you only need one mask, I highly recommend it; however, I order red, blue, and purple for prom, and the purple one doesn't match the way that it should. Overall, very comfortable and of high quality.

Material and quality are great. Unfortunately the mask didn't fit my face at all. The open side of the mask drops too far down and is relatively uncomfortable. For the strap to tie properly it went across my ear which looked and felt horrible. I tried to tie it above my ear but it made the mask extremely crooked and uncomfortable. As others said the open side of the nose area pressed my nostril in making breathing awkward and it was uncomfortable as well. It's worth buying to see if it will fit better for you than it did for me...don't be surprised if you decide to return it as I did.

This company makes great masks. I love the quality! They are durable, look amazing, and are reasonably priced. I gave this mask a 4/5 because of the strings to tie the mask. While perfectly fine, the ease of use would be so much greater if there was an elastic strap instead of two strings. I had to go out and buy elastic cords for my masks and replace them. But, this could just be a personal preference. I would recommend this company/these masks to everyone!See photo below for an example of this company's masks being used in my company's photobooth - LOVE IT!!!

This item fit very awkward. I have a narrow face. I could turn it one way and it would fit perfect, but I couldn't see out the eye opening. Turn it another way, I could see out the eye opening, but it pressed uncomfortably against my nose and forehead across the top. But it is absolutely beautiful and I was really hoping I could get it to fit somehow, but did't want to chance cracking it in the attempt.

Product quality and paint are next to none. Very solid product.However, the straps are directly along the ear lines which makes it impossible to use. Will be sending back unfortunately. Very cool product if they can move the straps to above the ears.

I got this traditional style Venetian masquerade half-mask (the blue/gold one) for a themed party and was super pleased with it - it's brilliant quality, solid and has a very good finish on all the detail. It's a step up in quality to a few similar masks I've tried and definitely worth spending extra on compared to cheaper ones.It sat perfectly comfortably for me, held in place securely with the nose rest and tie-up black silk ribbon strap. I didn't really have to adjust it much at all, only if I'd been jumping around a lot etc and it was reasonably comfortable - after the first hour or so I started to feel it more, but then it passed as I got used to it and virtually forgot I was wearing it (alcohol may have helped with this).Got lots of good comments about it and will happily wear again in the future!

It is a really beautiful mask. And we all loved it. It was just very difficult to wear, as it is not suited for all noise sizes and face sizes. This caused the mask to continuously slip and move, but only on specific people.

Incredible design and fits well. A lovely mask for a Halloween party! Might have a little trouble keeping it from moving.
