aimed at a crew - not an individual
So the entire premise of this book is that it can be done in 5 days -- BY A CREW of people. The entire book talks about your crew - how to assemble it, who to ask (and who to not ask), what they'll need to do, what to explain to them. In the entire book, I found only 2 mentions about doing it alone, with no advice on doing so, except to expect it to take longer than 5 days. Well, duh.So, in these pandemic days -- esp if you work in health care and are exposed to COVID positive patients daily (waves hand) -- good luck finding a crew of people willing to come to your house and help you. Or, if you're too embarrassed to have others in until you get it decluttered and cleaned up (and isn't that why you might want it to be done in 5 days?) -- this book will not work for you. It's a great concept, but not workable for me. Not at this time, and probably not for a while, as these fast-tracked vaccines slowly roll out.

Inspiring
I've almost finished reading. I don't have a "group" to come in my house. But I am motivated to follow the plan on my own. I have never seen this concept suggested before. Very clever idea. If you think everything has to be perfect (at least I) would never get started. This way there is progress that catches you by surprise. Clearing the floor first - just makes so much sense. Then clearly labeled boxes (new & all one color for aesthetic appeal & easy organization as you work. You won't lose anything - it'll all be right where it belongs). Very encouraging. I bought the hard copy for a friend also. Mine is the eBook. Thanks for a smart book.

Very specific program
I didn't read the description well , so the misunderstanding is my fault. I figured, if you can do it in 5 days, that I could spread it out over a month. This is a very specific plan that involved getting your friends involved. It's not suitable for me, but they have an interesting take on de cluttering your home.

How to De-clutter With a Little Help From Your Friends
This would be an excellent book if you didn't need a group of very willing friends to help you accomplish the miracle. The other downfall is that the results are not complete. Later, you have to go through all of your boxes. And, to me, a house full of boxes is less cluttered but looks like you are in the process of moving. I needed a little more to be convinced. I do, however, really like others of Sandra Felton's organizational books.

Mostly unrealistic
This book has some good suggestions in it, but the idea that I could find a team of people who have five free days and want to spend them organizing my (or anybody’s) house is pretty far fetched.

Very Encouraging with great resources.
If attitude is everything ~ and sometimes it makes all the difference ~ this book has one of positive hope, encouragement and just enough structured guidance to jump start a major life change. Plus additional resources throughout, and in the appendix with links included. Excellent reference and support.

Finally hopeful!
Great book, and simple plan. It's much easier than some other plans I have tried, and I might actually get some stuff done this time...

Good Help with Culling Clutter.
This book was a great bargain and is very encouraging on how freeing it is to make our homes clutter free. Clearing out unnecessary stuff brings a calming influence to one's life as well as home.

Clutter free really is possible... seriously.
This was a fun read and a helpful one too. There were lots of tips and tricks for finding ways to stay motivated to clear away clutter and keep it away. One thing I noticed after reading this book is that a lot of the really important tips or tricks stay with you. Clutter removing or keeping a clean and tidy house is not really that difficult once you get the ideas of this book into your head. I can still hear the authors words and whenever I feel myself slipping back into my old habits I simply remember the three main things I learned. Great fun and highly helpful. Thank you, Sandra.
