Havan Samagri is a mixture of dried herbal roots and leaves that are burned during yagnas and homas. The Havan Samagri disseminates it into the air, to purify the environment for pooja. Contents of the Samagri: Made from ayurvedic havan exotic herbs, Black til, Jo, 32 types of dhoop, Bhimseni kapoor, rose petals, sandalwood powder, lobaan, ghee, Agarbatti, chandan, and tumeric. Havan is a sacred fire ritual done in the Vedic Hindu tradition. Havan is a technique given by the Rishis and other Enlightened Masters to create a specific desired effect in our lives. The way in which the desired effect is made and the strength of the effect makes Havan a unique component of Vedic tradition. In a typical Homa, a priest invokes the presence of the Deity in the fire through specialized mantras. Since mantras are revealed by Enlightened sages, all mantras carry immense power within them. Once energized, till the end of the homa, the fire itself becomes a deity. Then several oblations (ahutis) are offered into the fire using Havan Samagri, at the end of every mantra. The smoke that emanates from the fire receptacle – homa kunda – energizes the whole space where the homa is done and creates a positive effect in that place. Havan Samagri is used for every type of Havan like - Annaprashanam (Baby's first feeding of rice) , Ayushya Homam , Gruhapravesham, Karvachauth (Suhag Vrath), Marriage Ceremony, Mrithyunjaya Homam, Mundan Puja, Namakaranam, bhumi pujan, bahi pujan, lagan (Marriage), Navagraha Homam, Punyaha Vachanam, Satya Narayana Puja, Yagya, Seemantham, Shanthi Path, Havan, Srirama / Sri Venkateswara Kalyana Utsavam, Shivji puja, durgastami, navratra pujan, durga puja, guru purnima, Mahalaxmi pujan, etc.

The Morning After
Thank you so much. I received the package yesterday; immediately put a dash on charcoal. What a pleasing scent. AND I awake this morning with no headache which I often get when burning sage. Many blessings to you. 🦋🙏🏾🦋
