New to camping and didn't know we needed this donut until we got it. Thank goodness the campground told us we had to bring one. Worked perfectly for the sewer hookup and definitely smelled no fumes from the hookup.

I used to have the same thing but it was a softer type seal. What was gross is that it retain moisture. This one is more of a solid rubber and your able to clean it over to stow it away. It works great and most of all it stays in place, no need to place weights to hold it down.

works very well and simple compared to trying to attach the end elbow to the treaded coupler then screwing that into the dump. Wish I would have got one years ago.

Seems like I might need this camping with the RV. We are new to RV life, so this was a cheap compared to having to go find one while on the road.Just in case. :-)

This is one of those things that you may only use from time to time. But boy, when you need one you’ll pat yourself on the back for having it, or kick yourself for not having purchased one.First time I used it we were at a really nice RV report. The 4” sewer pipe at our site had been broken one one side such that the regulator connector for our sewer line would not securely attach. This baby came in very handy. Was patting myself on the back for purchasing an item I *might* never use again.

Looked great and I am sure it would work. However we found it at the campground store for half the price so we returned it to Amazon.

I was skeptical about this product as I had only previously been to parks with newer screw in connections. This worked wonderfully well. Much better than I though. You will need a sewer hose with no adapter at the end. So if all your sewer hoses have connections you will have to cut one but that's how it's done at some of the older parks. As long as you screw/press enough of the hose into the seal it holds very well.This product also has some weight to it. I was worried about it falling over when water or waste was running through. It did just fine though.I did place a couble small bricks/stones around the edges just to be sure.Verry happy with this purchase for this price. I will soon be purchasing the camco hose "sidewinder" hose support & I think it will be perfect.

Great piece of rubber... fits with our other sewer hose pieces nicely. I have seen that some parks make you use these but I haven't used it yet.
