Fantastic!
I used to sleep through the alarm from my phone as I am a deep sleeper which is also affected by sleep apnea. This alarm does exactly what it's meant to. I use just the shake feature and the sound feature so loud I worry about the neighbours. There is also a flashing light feature. The shaker is very good and wakes me up every time. I feel so happy having an alarm I can rely on and I know I won't be late again.

Useful for the hard of hearing and those that are difficult to wake – too expensive for anyone else
To the average user this LED display alarm clock by Geemarc Telecom SA will be just a rather expensive bedside clock – for others it may prove to be more useful. At around fifty pounds currently from Amazon the Geemarc Wake N Shake Dynamite- Alarm Clock seems quite overpriced – but it has certain niche-market features that may prove attractive to some people. As well as a good loud audible alarm (not quite Dynamite however!) this model features an eye-catching flashing LED ring and a detachable vibrating pad making it particularly useful for the hard of hearing who may find these extra sensations help the to wake up more easily. This clock also features a battery backup to maintain the time and alarm settings in the event of a power-cut – this is a CR2032 lithium button type that is not included. On the rear of the clock there is a 5V 1A USB charging socket to charge your phone – but not your Tablet at this rating – and you can choose 12 or 24 hour time format and various brightness levels for the red LED display. For the average user I can only give a three star rating at the current price – but for the hard of hearing and those that are difficult to wake-up this could be a five star product; so a four star average rating from me.

All-singing, all-dancing alarm clock. Great for the hard of hearing.
This alarm is not a thing of beauty - it is definitely more practical than beautiful. Considering the hefty price tag, it feels lightweight and "plasticy". However, there is no doubt that if you are hard of hearing or simply find it difficult to get up in the morning, this alarm will be very useful indeed. It wakens you in three different ways:-1. Sound - the alarm is very loud indeed! You would not be able to sleep through this! You can adjust the tone from low tone to either mid tone or high tone.2. Sight - there is a ring of red LED lights which flash very brightly when the alarm goes off. Again you can adjust the level of brightness to suit yourself. The level of brightness can also be adjusted for the time display.3. Vibration - there is a small pad which can be plugged into the back of the clock. When the alarm goes off this starts to shake. I gather this should be placed under your pillow and the vibrations will waken you up. This is not explained in the instruction leaflet and I was not clear what to do with this until I read another review. When setting the alarm you can select any combination of the above features so you are able to choose what is best for you. You can see at a glance what features you have activated as indicator lights appear on the front of the clock. Another very useful feature is the USB port which you can use to charge your mobile phone. Very handy! Although this alarm is plugged into the mains, you can insert a CR2032 battery to provide back up in the event of a loss of power. I found the instruction leaflet quite complicated at first but this was really due to the many features which the clock has. I reality it was quite simple to operate once you got used to it. Overall. this was an all-singing, all-dancing alarm clock with numerous features. If you are hard of hearing or find it exceptionally difficult to get up, this is the alarm for you! If you are neither of these, You may not want to invest as much money in an alarm clock.

Geemarc Telecom SA Wake N Shake Dynamite
Not like your typical alarm clock, the Geemarc covers a variety of different senses to help wake you up:1) Visual: Not quite like a wake-up lamp where it simulates the rising sun to ease you in, but more of a bright red LED light.2) Audio: This is the loudest alarm clock I have personally owned, however that is not to say it's the loudest available on the market. The instruction manual that came with the product claims the alarm on the loudest setting is approximately 95 dB at 1m distance; though dotted around the product page at the time of this review it states 85 in one place and 90 somewhere else, so it's not too clear on what the actual dB unit is.3) Vibration: There is an optional disc-shaped attachment which has a 2m length cable; this attachment is to be placed underneath one's pillow and when activated, will initiate a strong but not overpowering vibration. This alarm clock is most suited but not limited to those who are hard of hearing, however if you genuinely struggling getting up then this may be more than ideal due to the various sensory alarms.Powering this does require direct input from the mains, though if you plan on moving the clock at anypoint, it's recommended to purchase a 'CR2032' battery which will keep track of the time and other settings whilst it is turned off. Located near to the battery compartment is a USB port which can be used to charge up other devices (USB cable not included of course). There are also three different LED panel brightness settings, so you can toggle between it being off, dim or bright. The instruction manual included explains how to set-up the alarm clock clearly, so setting up was a breeze. As for construction, it's not the most robust feeling product as it does feel rather plasticky, but it does the job.
