Dual Power 12 Volt And Mains Electric Cooler Box 29 Litre

Having looked and compared the many options available, this one came out tops because it had a larger capacity than most and comes with the necessary lead to run it from the mains.We've already used it a few times in the car and it chills well and the motor is quiet - you do have to be sure to push the adaptor well into the socket. I've used it at home on the mains while defrosting the freezer and it coped well with frozen food.The handle pulls over to "lock" the lid which is a great feature if you have kids - it took me some time to get into it when it was delivered!Because of its size it is quite heavy and if you don't have a 12v socket in the boot of the car, you'll need to have it on the passenger or rear seat which obviously takes up considerable space and you'd need to strap it in for safety. Cleaning it could be difficult too as the lid is integrated. I haven't tried using it for hot food yet so can't comment on that - the brochure mentions an insulating lid, which I am assuming would be a lump of polystyrene - this was not included.I bought mine via Amazon from Towsure and it was delivered within 2days. Very happy.

Product was delivered in good condition within two days but is not 32 Litre capacity. It says clearly on the side of the box that it is a 30 Litre coolbox! Not sure why Towsure have described it as a 32 Litre?Seems to work fine and the dual power supply is useful as you can precool the box on the mains before transferring it to your car. Also useful is the way the lid can be easily and completely removed for cleaning and putting in large items.Just a point to note - it is not a cooler and heater box as some are so if you were wanting one of those look elsewhere.

Great product for the price.Good for storage will easily get 24 cans in and keep them cold.Brillant for use in caravan run my of outside mains socket and into the awning.Great when you don't get a big fridge in caravan will happily store cold milk etc
