Great fun project
Kinda hard install but if you got mechanic skills it's good, I made go cart with it and it was blast, it was fun project. I never had any issues. It's been great

Electric Motorcycle Project
I bought this kit to convert my 1972 Kawasaki G3 to a full electric. It's a great kit for the do-it-yourself person. It has nearly everything you need to get up and running. I did not use a few of the components, like the foot pedal and wiring harness, as they did not fit my application. I assembled the entire kit on my bench in about 30 minutes and was able to test all the components.Since this is a generic kit, assume that you're going to spend another $50-$60 in wires and connectors (which I bought 100% from Ace Hardware) to get this into your bike/scooter/go-kart/etc.The wiring diagram on this description is pretty accurate, but if you buy additional components not included in the kit (like I did with my more attractive twist throttle, battery monitor, dc-to-dc converter, and brake lever) assume that the wire colors will not line up to this control module. There are lots of images on google that show where everything hooks up between non-kit parts and the parts in this kit. This 48 volt kit on my 1972 bike is not as powerful as I'd like, but I can get up to 15 mph on a flat road. Preferably I'd go 72 volt with a single LiPro battery (a future upgrade). For now, it's fun to go around the blocks a few times. The charger works well, even though it feels kinda flimsy. Though I feel some of the wires should be thicker, they do their job.

PLEASE read this before you buy
I put this on my bicycle and the motor can barely get 150lbs moving, so this might be more suitable for an r/c car if given the benefit of the doubt. However I am a technician, therefor I know I've done nothing wrong as far as electrical and mechanical goes. That being said, if you don't have some basic understanding of electrical, don't consider this kit.... you will be lost. Their bs wiring diagram online looks like a child's drawing. I would also like to note, I've tried different gear ratios, the motor just has no torque. The only thing it can do is draw excessive current and warm up enough to cook a steak. Another observation, one set of connectors does not work together, they are both male. Along with the pinion gear on the motor, it is for a 25H chain, a bicycle chain is a 415H. So I had to find a separate pinion that was the same size, would have been nice to know what actually came with the kit in advance.I have to say, this is a waste of money and a waste of my time. Possibly one of the worst things that can happen is being let down after putting in a lot of work. So take it from me, you're better off coughing up the cash for an electric bike/cart/scooter etc.

Great motor kit
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this thing as what others may say wiring is not that hard they give you a wiring diagram so you can tell what wires need to go where to make it work. As for the pulling and speed I am using/used this for my Halloween project of building a barrel train and this train weights a lot about half a ton loaded. The video is not showing the full speed of the train. The only thing bad I have for it is the battery charger and charging port don’t connect to together

Bad product.... Assembly is Mission Impossible.
I may not be the most mechanically savvy person but this thing is an absolute mess... Almost none of the connectors for or installed correctly on the wiring where 2 Male connectors or 2 female connectors are on the same wire. I cant get the thing to start... I had a friend help me with the installation but he thinks the exact same thing... Too complex for a DIY product and comes with no useful instructions.... I just wasted 400 bucks. Not happy

Frustrating
No wiring instructions at all. Way too complicated for DIY.

Total POS. Avoid it.
Total junk. Batteries were good. Motor had internal short in the halls. Insane polar resistance. Seller did not respond to issues at all. Like ZERO response. Dont buy this POS from this POS.
