Buy it for the Flash, Keep it for the Glass
Very cute. My kids loved the flashing lights. But it doesn't last very long before the light stops blinking, stays on all the time, and then commits Hari Kari.There is a battery in the base but I could never figure out how to open it to swap a new one in.Also, because of that battery you can't get the glass wet or it gets ruined. Just try to keeping a vessel that holds liquids from getting wet! Especially when you need to wash it.However, even after the flashing light fails you still have a nice, albeit very expensive, plastic cup for the kiddies to use. So not all is lost.

Great gift
I bought this for my brother who loves Coca Cola and he loved it. He said the lights were great and it's easy to turn on and off and the cup is very sturdy and looks great.

Junk
Just look at these things once and you will have a headache for a half hour, even with the blinking off. Sorry I bought because my daughter loves them. I guess I will accidently (on purpose) lose them.
