I'm sharing because I find detailed reviews extremely helpful if they contain details beyond "I love this." I hope this is helpful to someone else shopping._ I'm 5'7", weigh 150 lbs (sometimes 158 lbs.). My shape is hourglass, meaning I have hips (40") and a smaller waist (33") I am over 50, so I have done some shopping in my life. My US size is 10-12 at Macy's and 12 at Target._I like clothes that do not bind, loose fit, but do not look like I am wearing an old canvas bag._I like good fabric, and I am a longtime sewer, so craftsmanship of clothes is important to me. I look at the construction of a garment.So, these pants:_Linen fabric is quality and a mid-weight, no shine and has a great but subtle linen texture - the fabric is soft to the skin and does not scratch or itch. Good for three seasons in the north of the USA. The drape is excellent right out of the bag without ironing or putting them in the dryer for a touch-up. The elastic at the waist is about 1-1/4 inch wide and not stiff - the elastic waist could easily accommodate a waist 8 inches bigger than mine or more - it depends on the fit you like - I actually might make the elastic a little tighter, an easy 10 minute fix if you sew or know someone who does sew. The pants have two good sized pockets. The construction is excellent. The fabric is cut correctly so it drapes correctly._Depending on your lifestyle and personal style these pants can be worn almost anywhere besides a formal event. How you style with a top, shoes and accessories is the key. Definitely outside pants, not sleeping pants._When shopping online make sure you get a tape measure and know your measurements. I ordered US L and the fit was as expected for me - I could have sized down one size to a US Medium, but I like a loose fit. Also, make sure you look at the manufacturer's size chart, not the generic Amazon size chart to make your size selection._My photos are of the pants right out of the bag, and in front of a dusty (sorry) mirror, but hopefully they are helpful to you._I have been wearing them for a few hours now and these pants are so comfortable, so cute. Great pants, and an interesting bottom hem that reminds me of my favorite Eileen Fisher pants (but at a fraction of the price)!I've been on the fence about these pants for several weeks, but decided to trust the reviewers and take a chance. I'm 5'6.5" and wear a size 12 (normally ranging from size 10-14 when my weight fluctuates). I opted to get the larger of sizes to fit me, a large rather than a medium; as I can have them tailored if too big. A good decision.The linen fabric is tightly woven and a good weight, this is a quality fabric. Pictured are the pants as they currently fit, I will actually get the legs taken in about an inch, and try out the size medium when I order another color. Yes, I will be buying at least one other pair of these pants!This is a linen/cotton blend pant, not full linen.

I usually order clothing made in China a size larger. I ordered xl (5’7” 165lbs) these are true to size so xl is xl. They are very baggy. But that is what I like. I also think 100% cotton will shrink. They are defiantly med weight almost heavy but not too heavy. Still NOT see through light lofty linen. The seams are very well made. I have the ones with pleets. I easily rolled them and they are adorable and they stayed rolled would look wonderful with high heels, flat sandals or convers. These are super baggy. Over the top comfy. I am very picky about my baggy linen pants and I am going to love these till they fall apart. Right now I am going to get green and burgany. I would order these in your size not bigger.

I thought I reviewed these. Very stylish - and cute, at the same time. I ordered a 2nd pair. I tend to be an L but M in some things. I ordered these in M. I'm 5'5" 158 lb.

I love them. I literally live in that. They are solid linen (almost like hemp) and incredibly comfy. I am 5’4” and weight 133 lb bought medium.

I just received the teal M yesterday and anxiously tried them on. (For the record, I’m 57, 5’2” and 145lbs. straight build.)I was immediately frustrated that the tag labeled the fabric content as “linen blend”. In my book that’s NOT linen. My best guess, from the feel, is a linen/poly blend. Linen would be far more lighter than these pants. Based on the websites measurements I ordered the M. I should have stuck with my normal sizing of small for pants with an elastic waistband. Non-elastic, I’m a 4-6. These fit loose and the crotch sags. Pants with this much fabric should fit tighter in the waist and crotch so you avoid looking like a clown. The length is ok. A bit long but if they fit better the length would be fine. I ordered the charcoal in a small and they are set to arrive next week. If they have a better fit I’ll exchange the teal medium for a small. If the smalls don’t fit any better they’re both going back because I’m really only interested in linen pants. Maybe I’ll only keep one pair. The teal is pretty.Stick with your normal size. And if you only want real linen pants don’t bother with these.

These pants are awesome....thick linen...but the pants flow...so casual but you could easily dress them up...nice qualty...I am 5’7 115Lbs I got small perfect...ordered another paired...I have a lot of over sized pants these are my new favorite

I expect this boho style pant, but that is not at all what they look like when the arrive. The fabric also feels terrible. I washed them hoping someone that would bring them into space but not luck. I regret purchasing these pants.
