alarm and easily viewable screen for an avid user
If you are an outdoorsman this is an ideal watch. It has weather, barometer, altitude, temperature, timer, alarm and easily viewable screen for an avid user. It can give you the last 24 hours of altitude change if you are a climber or direction from the compass. The alarm is audible and distinct enough to awaken you if needed. A useful tool for scouts or everyday use.On a negative, the temperature is derived from your skin temp and the surrounding air. If you take the watch off and lay aside it will read the air within 0.5 degrees F. I found the accuracy of time to be quite better than average. Mine was within two seconds a week. I have another Timex that does one second a week. The battery (2430, nickel size) is easily replaceable and large enough to support years of use. Enjoy the unusual watch for an enthusiast.

Nice watch, works well and looks great
Nice watch, works well and looks great. banged it a few times already, no scratches, only wish characters were green instead of black and the green accents were a brighter green. I guess cant get the 100% perfect watch. But its otherwise great

See the carabiner model
I won't write a long review as there are others for this watch online, mostly for the wrist version. This clip on version is ideal. It is precisely 2.74 ounces. The width is 2 inches. The body length is 2.5 inches. The total length including clip is 4.5 inches. It used Cr2032 battery.I cannot imagine wearing this on a wrist unless one is Shaquille O'Neill.I enjoy that, as in the photos, the carabiner flips like a stand so that this can rest on a table. That cannot be done with the wrist models.Avid fitness walker and hiker, and I clip on my belt loop and use it daily. I do lap times and splits, and it's nice to know temperatures. It's not hard to use, and takes 10 minutes to set up and less than 30 minutes to fully understand. I find the compass, after a simply 4 minute calibration in the instructions, dead on accurate. When I workout, I like that it is down at my waist, rather than on my wrist--it's easier to use and access there. I wish the readout was changeable for direction, because if you hang it on a backpack, the reading is upside down. They should allow the user to select direction. It's readable even for so-so vision, and the Indiglo works well. The alarm is rather quiet, and it may or may not wake you up. It certainly is pleasant to hear, and the hourly chime is not offensive.Every couple of years I stumble upon a product that is so ideal, so well constructed, and so worth the price (even though this is expensive, it is quality built) that I buy a second one. Always afraid the company will either stop making them (as Timex did with the Helix line), or "improve" them in some meaningless way (e.g make it smaller, which would be harder to read and undesirable if used with a 'biner). This is one of those watershed products. I'm buying a second one.

Beschreibung:Rechteckige Form, 50 mm breit, 17 mm dick. Plastikarmband.Bedienung:Ohne Bedienungsanleitung wird es nicht gehen. TIMEX.COM ausdrucken, 45 Seiten auf 13 Blättern DIN A 4, doppelseitig, in leicht verständlichem Englisch.Die Punkte des Hauptmenüs sind:1. Time mode (Uhrzeit): 9 mm große digitale Anzeige der Uhrzeit. A.S.

Great 'Old School' Watch for the Outdoorsy type
Bought this as a gift for my husband who had his eye on this watch for a while and he LOVES it! It has all the features he wanted and seems easy to set up and use after a little online browsing. Not sure about the temperature display as it may pick up body temperature also...The package arrived on time as promised and neatly packaged in a little box. Would recommend to anyone who's into old school digital watches.

No me gusta
Tamaño desproporcionado para las funciones que realiza. Presencia basta y poco deportiva.
