Small nozzles are used as shorter ones, because if the water is very high, the breeze can clear the nest. Very satisfied

This thing has been going for two seasons now and I absolutely love it it is worth the money I had one of the water Wigler which didn’t last for a year. I’ve had so many birds in there they absolutely love it they are always in there splashing around I have to clean it out twice a day. Because the birds bring in all their dirt , if this thing dies I will definitely be buying another one. Sorry this took so long for this review but it deserves it!

Works well when it is in direct sunlight only. If it is in partial shade it just spits every few seconds. Wanted it for a water feature under my patio that gets sunlight most of the day. But this will only work if it was just in the sun the whole time. Product description says it will work for a period of time even when the sun goes down, but we did not find that to be true. When it did work, it was very nice spray. You should note however, that it moves around a lot. Couldn’t figure out how I would keep it in place for a small porch water fountain. It would go to the outside edge and spray the patio.

My front rainwater collector is a 100 gallon trough, with some goldfish to keep mosquitoes at bay. This is my 2nd Madetec solar fountain because it works so well in this setting. The pump works in full sun only, which is exactly what I wanted. It also sprays occasionally at night, which we also enjoy 🤓

I was not quite ready to use this item but after being contacted by the seller, asking me how was the product, I set up and used the item.. The setup was simple enough, so upon seeing the spray level so low, I thought that maybe I missed something, I kept going over it and saw no change, I told this to the seller, who asked for a picture {which was when I took this, I can't get to load the video here} I sent A copy of the attached pic, along with a video, they told me not to use stone, as it blocks the sunlight,, {the stones are on the middle part of the panel and not touching the sun receptors} . I pointed out that I used the stones to keep the item steady so I could take the pic. Then I looked back on here at a pic the seller has of the parts and noticed that the first part tht goes onto the item was missing and pointed that out to them, they replied saying that did not stop the water from spraying high,,i told them if they couldn't sort the situation, then I'll just get a similar product from another seller later on, they wrote back offering me a $2 refund, I suggested sending the missing part, they then offered me a $5 refund, also telling me I could return the item.I told them that based on the cost of the item, I couldn't bother with that hassle and left it at that. I'm turned off of them, so I shelved the item that same day. I bought the item based on how high it sprayed based on the pic they have on here, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't follow through to ensure that my item sprayed water high, like it does in their pic on here. I'll just get from another seller when I'm ready to buy again

This device is tough to beat in the value for money department.Assembly is trivial.It took two days before it reached very good performance.Once it was going, it would do great as long as it got some direct sunshine.When the direct sunlight was gone it kept running for a surprisingly long time.When it finally stopped I just wiped/soaked the solar panels with some vinegar and it got right back in form.

When added to a birdbath outdoors, the pump gets easily clogged by even the smallest bits of grass that have fallen into the feeder and therefore reduces the suction and functional use of this . I will say the longevity is good but it is a constant battle to keep the pump clear of any debris that will impede the flow of water out of it

Worked efficiently for 6 months and now it is dead. Waste of time and money.
