Very nice quality & build

Great looking watch, really loved it until the crown unscrewed while I was setting it. As a result it's incredibly frustrating to set it when it will only turn the hands clockwise. Even before the crown unscrewed it was very jumpy in setting. Setting the date used to work by turning the crown anti-clockwise, but now the crown just unscrews when I do that so I need to set the date by winding the hour hands around repeatedly. Very disappointed. Returning.

I bought this watch directly from Undone in Hong Kong, price was £15 less than the current Amazon listed price but this saving was cancelled out by import duty and handling fee. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the date quick change simply does not work, the crown will not engage in its second position, so it's a real pain to adjust the date as you have to do it by moving the hour and minute hands forward. The crown has not fallen off yet as the other reviewer mentions, but it's early days I suppose. The hexagonal crown itself looks nice but is hard to grasp and turn easily. Also, the strap buckle became detached as I tried to fasten it straight out of the box. it secures with a spring pin (unusual?) so I spent a frustrating twenty minutes or so reattaching the buckle. The strap is pretty awful, however, it's the cordura one which looks a nice sage green in the pics but is a horrible shade of green in reality, and I can only manage to fasten it on the very last hole, although I have relatively slim wrists for a guy. I would not rely on the durability of the strap given my experience with the detached buckle and it's overall flimsy feel. There are some things to like - the watch itself looks good, the Plexiglas crystal looks and feels better than I expected and the dial is extremely clear and easy to read - however, my first impression is that Undone may be more concerned with hype than quality control issues. It's not a 'cheap' watch at this price point, so be aware if you are thinking of purchasing.
