I like the call but was disappointed to see a chunk of slate was broken off when I got it out of the box

Great Call!
The call arrived in two days. It was in good condition. I have tried it out and it sounds good anywhere on the slate. I'm tagged out in SC and will have to wait to use it in the field.

Probably the nicest slate I own. The striker is better than any other one I've used and the slate produces the most realistic cluck I have ever been able to produce

Not for beginners
I bought a returned model at 1/2 cost (it was missing surfacing cloth). After 1 day in the field the glue broke and slate came out. Gorilla glued it back in. From a sound standpoint, it's not nearly as loud as my box call and sound consistency was varied. For $20 it wasn't worth returning. If you're experienced with a slate call you may have better results than I did

Good sound
Has a good sound to it. Bought it for my son in law that’s never been hunting until he married my daughter. Now he wants to hunt all the time. This is a good call for beginners.

Decent turkey caller
Easy to use if u know how to :) we use it all but it is real :) over all good seller no problems.
