I misread what company made this product as I thought it was Belkin. I don't know if the company that distributes this product did that intentionally or not. If they did, that's misleading and inappropriate, so I am hoping that is not the case. It works well though even though I have only used the HDMI side of things so far and probably only will. It is pretty much plug and play after adjusting a couple of settings in system preferences. No drivers to install which is great. It is cheaply made, so it won't take a beating if you are traveling with it, but if it is only going be used occasionally at home or in the office with out being thrown into a bag a whole bunch, it seems like it will hold up. I just bought it to be able to worship from home via livestreams from my church (thebridge.church), so I use it a couple times a week. In all honesty, I would get something higher quality in terms of construction if this was something I was using on a daily basis or constantly reconnecting to different equipment.

I've had a few mini-display port adapters... the white eBay specials... and they always die within a few months. But this one just keep going. It works very well, totally plug and play without any hassles. Using on a 2011 MacBook Pro, connected by HDMI to my TCL/Roku 55" TV.

Love this.. I bought a monitor screen for my laptop its a acer monitor that came only with vga cable. My laptop doesn’t have vga port, it has miniDiplay port and Hdmi port. The Hdmi port if my laptop does not work, so the only option was the miniDisplay port from my laptop to be connected to vga or hdmi port of tge monitor. With the help of this product I can now connect my laptop’s miniDiplay port to either vga or hdmi of the monitor screen .. value for money ❤️

I plugged the device in to an ACER with a VGA cable to a Mac Mini late 2014 and no picture. I was going to return it, but decided to try it on another Mac Mini late 2014 which was running 2 displays (also ACER) replacing the VGA/thunderbolt adapter with this one, and voila, it worked without problems. I don't know what happened, but if it ain't broke, you don't fix it. So, it is currently on the Mac Mini with the 2 displays, and the I moved the VGA/thunderbolt to the other Mac Mini.

I recently was given an upgraded laptop for work, it no longer had a VGA plug, what was I to do, didnt want to buy a new upgraded monitor for use at home. So I opted for this adapter. It is super simple to use, very much plug and play. No instructions need to work this. Thanks Amazon for carrying this and thanks to Belin for making this top quality devise adapter. Its a true life (and money) saver for me. Very budget friendly.

Works great. Gives me the versatility to connect to most external monitors using my laptop while on the go.My Surface Pro had no issues with it.
