This works very well for my purposes and was very inexpensive, but well made. I’m using it to attach a camera to a tripod and video a weekly lecture which includes demonstrations and slides projected on a screen. I’m not using it for anything professional and so can’t speak to how it might work in that respect, but it’s perfect for my needs.

Used as a replacement for a broken tripod head. It came with a small to larger thread which was needed to attach it to the existing tripod. An inexpensive but adequate replacement for a standard DSLR weight. Easy adjustment and snug tightening.

Well made stable ball head. I usually don't like ball head mounts because they usually lose the ability to be screws ight over time but this oneis metal and has more control over adjustability. My mega expanding iphone 12 pro with the beastcage and dof adapter with lens and manual handle attached was becoming too heavy and dslr-like. The original tripod head mount was to wide and I needed something smaller but sturdy to mount it so I was stoked when I saw this little gem. At first, I didn't think it would be able to screw on to my tripod. Thankfully it has two screw on settings. It comes with a small removable attachment screw. Perfect! Highly recommend for you budget filmmakers or photography guys & gals out there!

Great materials. It feel secure and the quick release works just fine. I wasn't expecting to have a handle bar so that is a plus among this price range

I was surprised at the smoothness of this head! Not sure how good the adjustments are but for my camera it works fine. I plan on using it as a compact video head. I’m not saying that it will be better than a fluid head but it is very smooth for a ball head. I needed something compact and packable that I could use for light video. If that fits your purposes, for the money you can’t go wrong.

First off... this head isn't as large as I thought it would be--but I'm still very impressed with the quality of the unit. It runs very smoothly and will hold in place with only a slight amount of friction on the large knob (and you can tighten the knob to really lock it in place if you need to). This is truly a quality made tripod head, much better than expected for the money.

A good product for a small camera or cell phone with a holder made for cell phones that you can attach to a tripod. It is well made but would not use it for a a DSLR , you might be able to squeak by video but not for still pictures, actually that's what these types of tripod heads are made for is for video that's why it's called a panhead if you take still pictures you want a ball head. Which usually doesn't have a tilt and pan handle
