Brusho by Colourcraft BRU85000 Brusho Crystal Set 12 Color Colour

I love these. It's amazing to water the paper and sprinkle a little color. Wow more than I expected as I watched the color burst. I sent a pic to my sister and she asked me to make one for her. It looks like a field of asters. I tried to make her a copy but I don't think it can be done. So I took a pic and printed it on watercolor paper...I couldn't believe it so I printed it out again on 11x17 canvas paper and it's beautiful. Thank you to the Brusho people I bought them because I love my PanPastels and figured it would have to be great.

The colors! The variety! The absolute coolness of spraying a card and sprinkling these color and watching magic happen is the most fun I have had crafting and making cards.

Brusho is a very unusual product. On the surface. It seems like a lot of fun to use, but it’s actually quite difficult to grasp in the sense that if you try to paint something more realistic, you need to have a firm grasp of this product. The powdered pigment is magical the minute it hits water, but Unless you’re just going for a background that looks like multicolored fireworks then this product is for you, if you’re looking for a more sophisticated way to paint with watercolor it’s going to take a lot of time and a lot of practice to be able to use Brusho in a more interesting and controlled way. Having said all that it is really a lot of fun to use.

I love Brusho. I sprinkle it on mixed media art work and eco-prints - then mist it, I make watercolor paint out of it by adding it to a little water, dye paper or fabric in it by dipping them into water with Brusho in it, or use it for ice dying paper and fabric.

I knew what I was getting when I ordered it and it was just what I was expecting pigment powder that had the ability to give you the burst of color.As with all pigment powders it all depends on what comes out as to what you get. You will either love the unpredictability or you will hate it.

I just wish there were less similar colors in the pack. 2 greens and 2 reds aren’t helpful. Would love more variety in the box like maybe a gold or lavender. I still love them though. Seriously, it only takes a tiny bit. They will probably last me a lifetime.

Brusho is a wonderful highly pigmented art accessory that is so much fun! Great for watercolor backgrounds. It also includes a booklet of suggested uses. Excellent value.
