The best EDC knife ever. A great hunting knife. Sheath is good but needs time to break in.
This knife surprised me. At first I thought the sheath was too small. Then I realized that it's tight so that once the fabric breaks in it holds the knife securely without movement. Honestly, though I don't use the sheath. In the morning, I put in my pocket, go to work and just forget its there until I need it. It's so lightweight, all the edges are rounded and ergonomic that it just disappears in your pocket. But then when you need it its there. Its great in the hand, sharp as heck, and smooth to open. Sure it's not a flipper...but somehow its better for it. This knife is like that best friend of yours whose always been there through the years...sure there's fancier knives out there. Sure there are more expensive. But this knife does all of those things just as well, and it's a deal. Get one, throw it in your pocket, it'll be there for you when you need it rock solid dependable when you need it.

Satisfaction epitomized
Well it is better than I expected! Knives are as most will agree, right there on the fence. They all have the makings of a typical knife design. They have handles, blades, sheaths, and other virtues depending on model. This knife was very smooth on opening. And the first thing I do is look and feel the fit and finish.this knife has no play side to side and locks open tightly. The blade release works better than most in that you don’t have to be Herculean to unlock the blade for closing. This three inch blade model is perfect for pocket Carry and is how I will use it, although the sheath is very nice in material, visual design and function (snap closure). The quality of this knife has me “back to Buck”. The feel is much better than the Browning knife I recently bought. In fact, I never even got to use it due to manufacturing defect. The hassle of returning the knife was more than I was willing to go through as it went in the trash without ever being used as a knife. This knife is military in design and appearance. The para cord attachment point in the handle is there but passive by design. I can tell this one will be with me for a long time. The edge was uniform and sharp. Bottom line is I’m happy with this purchase and may buy the next size bigger. That blade is a 3.5” model if I remember correctly. Buy with confidence!

Made in the USA.
what can i say more than Made in the USA. this is a good knife to have as a pocket knife or for hunting.i use it at work to open boxes and just used it this weekend to skin and quarter a deer. it stays very sharp for a long time. it does not have a clip but i found that it fits perfect in the small pocket that most jeans have above the right pocket. it does come with a nice sheath if you want to wear it on your belt.

Worth the money, needs pocket clip
Pro: Looks good. Blade paper-slicing with a bit of stropping. Good steel, blade centered, grind symmetric, handle grippy. Action slightly stiff but smooths out quickly with use. Lockback probably strongest lock. Colorful handle makes it look less threatening. Con: Polish on blade a bit uneven. No pocket clip--useful for wear option and for finger grip to open blade.

Perfect knife for larger hands
I bought this for my fiancé. He has large hands and it is the perfect size for him. Very sharp knife and good looking. The packaging is awesome. He loves the knife and has gotten numerous compliments.

LOCK BROKE, KNIFE USE LESS
Had this Buck 661 folding knife, speed opening less than a month. It broke while opening it.Blade now swings free and knife can not be used. This is the second Buck knife I have returned because of malfunctions. Frustrating! Had high hopes for this unit, it has a good handle, easy to hold and control, looks very good, nice blade, appeared to be quality . But, alas. it turned into unusable junk.

Very strong Buck knife, that is made in USA and really holds an edge
This knife really holds an edge ! I would buy this knife again if I ever lose this one. Its great, fits your hand, and that blade will hold an edge. steel from USA most likely. It says knife made in USA, so Buck is all I ever buy. I have a couple other models of Buck, but since getting this one, its my go to knife !
