NSIIndustries WFIS1 120V Wi-Fi Screw-in Socket

It took multiple tries for me to get this to connect to my wifi but I finally got it to connect. It would be nice if the connect button were on the top instead of the side because once I screwed this into a cannister socket, it’s nearly impossible to reach the button that you have to press to connect. I had to bend a paper clip in order to reach the button. Also, the phone app that you use to set the on/off time is very poorly implemented. I have used a number of wifi plugs and their associated apps and have never encountered one so complicated to figure out.

Had multiple Phillips Hue lights set up as an Alexa scene in my 1000 sq ft. basement. Needed more light for a hobby area so I purchased a multi-angle garage light and combined it with this smart socket to replace one of the Phillips Hue bulbs. Connecting the socket to my wifi was a piece of cake. So was adding it to the existing Alexa scene.

Bought this to control my string Lights at the push of a button. The recessed light socket needed some bending for this to fit in it as it’s slightly too wide for the existing bracket. But, we were able to get it to work. The device works great- easy set up and turning on/off is very responsive. Makes it so much easier to light my front porch!

Was easy install using the Tork software. Not so easy to connect to Alexa - instructions need to be updated! However it is perfect for my application.

The media could not be loaded.  It was just what I was looking for in order to make my diningroom light Alexa-enable. Set up was easy as was installing it. I highly recommend this product.

Not worth the time or the anxiety. Don’t buy. Money was refunded.

Efforts were futile item returned.
