Fold out curlers
These take up as much space flattened out as they would if they were cylinders. They don't roll up very well, and I will probably never use them. Just get velcro rollers and stuff them in your shoes to pack them.

Compact and perfect!
I really like these rollers they are adjustable and store flat perfect for traveling and they are comfortable. Definitely a good choice if you like variety but don't want to own 100's of curlers.
