Perfect replacement
Our laptop fell and was unable to connect to wi-fi. I purchased this and had my 12 year old son replace it. Works great .

Fast and reliable
Needed to replace the wifi card in my Lenovo Yoga 730, which gave me unreasonably slow speeds and would completely lose wifi connectivity whenever I picked up and moved my computer. Have had this card in my laptop for about 30 minutes -- so no this is not a long term review -- but my speeds are noticeably better and I've been walking all around the house without losing connectivity.Installation is fairly straightforward as long as you have the right tools to open your computer (a T5 torx) and the little screws holding the battery and wifi card in (little tiny phillips head).A note: When I first turned my laptop back on this did not work and in my device manager I received Error Code 10. All I did was reboot my computer once and everything worked just fine.

Works great in HP 840 G5
I recently ordered a new HP 840 G5 off of EBay. Every laptop I have ordered in the past from EBay has come with WIFI. This specific model must be the CIA/FBI version because it doesn't have a webcam, WIFI or Bluetooth. This combo WIFI/Bluetooth card did the trick. Wish it would have come with the little screw that holds it down when installed in the slot. I had to steal an unused screw from another laptop. Works great and WIFI signal is excellent. HP used to whitelist adapters that would be compatible with their laptops so I made sure I got the same model as what would have come in it.

Decent hardware... could use a firmware update
Having quite a bit of experience with laptop hardware, there really were no surprises when installing this one. Went in pretty easy and fit perfectly. The metal bracket provided, where the screw goes, is way better than the OEM bracket. The most difficult part for me is reconnecting the antenna cables. Not too much dexterity left in these old fingers. However, as with everything else regarding this part, cables fit perfectly.I mentioned needing a firmware update in the headline. That's just a guess, but this device takes about twice as long as the OEM component did when connecting, or reconnecting after resuming from sleep. Once connected though, it is a rock solid connection.Overall, I would say nice job Netely!

Low Signal Strength
Received quickly and packaging/quality appeared to be excellent. Installed without issue on two of our Church's computers about 25 feet away from a Comcast/Xfinity modem. Unless I moved the computers closer, I had between one and two bands of strength. Perhaps it was the computer I was installing in that oppressed the signal (Dell OmniPlex 7080) or something else, but regardless, very poor signal strength.

Make sure you buy an antenna if you don't already have them.
Good and easy to install, just make sure you buy an antenna if you don't already have one to go with it. First wifi card I ever installed and didn't realize the antenna is basically a requirement. It'll work without an antenna but the signal is trash, unless you're in the same room as your router you're going to need an antenna. I just ordered this antenna which should be compatible with this chip:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P8CKGZM?psc=1&smid=A169Z7QURE8JMH&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp

Works great!
I had an issue with my laptop that would slow my wifi down when my Bluetooth mouse was connected(the two white speed tests are with and without the mouse connected). Now with this network card installed you can see my speeds are way faster even with the mouse connected!

Very poor Signal
After connecting the antennae I thought the poor speed was because the antennae were attached inside, so I routed the wires to the outside and attached them to the outer cover. The speed only marginally improved. Not impressed.I mainly decided on an internal card so as to not waste one of the USB 3 ports, but looks like now I don't have a choice. The speed is mediocre and unacceptable. I will keep playing around with the antenna location and if the speed doesnt improve , it's going back.
