I was making githeri and needed some Kenyan white corn. This is just like the real thing!

Took too long to deliver but I’m glad I finally got it, if you like githeri and you live abroad then you know how much of a life saver this is, I wish the maize came with expired details, some of it did taste bitter

Tasty just like the one at the motherland, Africa and It cook just the same way. For faster cooking I use pressure cooker.

I ordered this as a substitute for hominy to use in soups, stews, cook with beans, etc. Plan enough cooking time and it works fine, like 6 hrs in a slow cooker.
