works well, good stuff
These are working well - using them on a Panda mini washing machine. While the Panda washer is pretty quiet, these help to tame the vibration that it makes in my paper thin wall and floor apartment.I thought they might be expensive too, but I really don't know how expensive it is to develop and manufacture this stuff - really can't be sure if we're getting a bargain or not. I'd buy these again, and plan to for under computers and various other devices. It's supposed to be great for speakers - but speakers ideally should be solid anchored. If there's "cushion" or "give" it slightly lessens your speaker's "push" - shortens a speaker's excursion slightly (like slightly less bass for example). But I wouldn't hesitate to use it for speakers, and you can always take them off temporarily for purist listening sessions. The other thing too is their stickiness - I had luck just using clear shipping tape (it's like wider scotch tape) to keep it from sticking to surfaces.Anyhow, good stuff, handy for quieting or vibration damping many things.

Expensive but works very well in my application.Dampens multi mode vibrations effectively . I stacked two different durometer discs together with flexible cyanoacrylic glue. I checked the load bearing ratings (which vary with durometer (elasticity), pad thickness and surface area) and found what I thought would work well.

Too Tacky
These discs are extremely difficult to work with. They are so tacky it is difficult to place them under stereo components. To make matters worse, if your placing them on a wood stand, they can damage the surface. After struggling to place them, I had to move my components to make room for an addition. When I lifted the components that were placed on the discs, the discs stuck to my entertainment center, and it took considerable effort to peel them off. Once they were removed, they finish of they area where they were adhered to was dulled and cloudy. I used mineral spirits to clean the area that was discolored but was unable to completely restore the surface.

Crank it!
The speaker and subwoofer are right next to my record player that is isolated. We crank up the noise and never have an issue.

Not Good on Carpet.
Tried it on carpet. No difference in noise transference.

Works Perfectly
I used these to isolate an upstairs cabinet that was rattling from a downstairs subwoofer. Worked very well to control the rattle. Its a good thickness and remains flexible under decent weight.
