Scale is accurate and repeatable. Would give it 5 stars except the display has low contrast so the tiny labels are difficult to read even close up. The numbers are large enough that reading them is no problem. It is also rather sensitive to movement on the subject's part but partially makes up for that by locking the reading once it has determined a stable value and clearly indicating so by blinking the number. I would have preferred a separate symbol (blinking or not).

The scale works fine, but has two design flaws:1) it's overly sensitive to being moved even the tiniest bit, such as adjusting its location. This causes the readings to jump all over the place.2) YOU CAN'T RESET IT. This drives me crazy. There's no way to simply reset it to zero. I have to turn it off and restart it. Highly annoying.

Use for cats and small dogs at my clinic. Very accurate and more stable than my last scale although will tip if step on the edge. Easy to sanitize between patients. Remains clean looking. Very easy to read, bright display. I wish you could manually turn the scale off when you are done weighing as the scale turns off automatically but seems like batteries might last longer if not on for so long afterwards. However, we have used it almost daily for months now and have not needed to replace batteries yet.

One of my cats had just been weighed at the vet the day before this scale came in the mail so I knew his weight. It matched exactly. The surface is nicely shaped such that all of my cats are comfortable with it (except my scaredy-cat who is afraid of everything.) My youngest cat lays down on it like a comfy bed which makes it really easy to get her weight.Once I set the scale to pounds, it has stayed there so that it does not have to be reset each time which is really nice. It also has auto shut off, so you don't run the batteries down if you forget to turn it off.

I like the portability of it and it's easy to clean. I have had a few times where it was hard to get an accurate baby weight.

I prefer to contact seller first if I have an issue with a product but I cannot find a way to contact seller for this item.I purchased this item back in January as my Veterinairian had the same scale. I have only used it a few times to weigh new born pups.The scale worked fine with weights the first couple of times but tonight it is totally off and consistently underweighing my pups. I changed the batteries to see if that was the issue but unfortunately it was not. This $130.00 scale is now useless to me and on a night that was important for accuracy I am left unable to track birth weights.

This is perfect for weighing my breastfed newborn in between doctors visits. We were concerned that he wasn’t gaining enough weight, this gives us peace of mind without breaking the bank on a $2,000 hospital grade scale.

Fussy, bounces around with a moving subject (ie. Baby) and weight fluctuates from one reading to the next. It is rather accurate when using a still subject, though.
