The Authentic Gilbert & Sullivan Songbook (Dover Opera Scores)

To be used as a fun excursion to remember many great songs. Very little editing, almost as it was first published. New printing and well bound. Some solo pieces, but songs have the chorus written in when included.

Those who love Gilbert and Sullivan are probably tired of receiving the same recordings from different casts. This is a delightful alternative--the text is not long or boring or pedantic and the few illustrations are appealing. The arrangements are not for beginners and some are more difficult than others. Even if you--or the recipient--is a one-finger pianist, it's fun to have it on your piano and hum along with your favorite selections.

This product is advertised as "new" however it arrived with multiple library stickers and a stamp indicating it's a former library book. Too much money for a used library book (that was supposed to be new).

Written in so many sharps and flats that it would be a hugh challenge to perform.

If you love these songs like I do, then this book is for you. Excellent selection!

When I ordered this book, I did not realize that it contained facsimiles of earlier texts (or an earlier text). My real and only objection is that the print and the notes are fairly small and a trifle unclear. It would be difficult to put in on a piano and try to read it.Loved the illustrations and the feel of the book.

I was able to get a book that I am certain is not available in my area for my brother's birthday. It was in perfect condition, came in plastic wrapping to protect the cover, and was just what he wanted.

The copy of The Authentic Gilbert & Sullivan Songboek was well received, in a good condition so all in all perfect!

Comprehensive collection of G&S music. Printing of the lyrics is a little small, but otherwise a very god buy.

This item was purchased as a Christmas present for near relative. We looked through the book before we wrapped it and found it very impressive.

I ordered this book and it sadly never arrived now the price is at least 3 times the amount I ordered it at if I want to buy it again

Any Savoyard would find this a valuable addition to a library
