I had spent a few days looking for an OBD2 scanner that includes ABS and SRS functions and came across the Autel AL619. Upon receiving I didn’t waste any time and plugged it right into my vehicle and I couldn’t be happier. The construction feels extremely sturdy and the user friendliness is a huge plus - Pretty much a plug and play device. I love the live monitoring function which allows me to see my vehicle details in real time. The included memory card is also a huge benefit and saves you a few more dollars on top. I wanted this device mainly for the SRS function and it operates in the same manner as the OBD2 scan so I received immediate results on my indicator light and was able to clear it promptly. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wants an affordable device with all the functions of a more expensive unit. Great buy - no questions.

Bought this as an upgrade to my old basic code reader because I had SRS issues in my Honda Pilot, but didnt want to spend much. Figured I can’t go wrong with a a product from a known scanner company. Best $100 I ever spent. Read the SRS code immediately, told me what the issue was, I fixed it and saved a $1000 dealer bill. Also came with a cool embroidered case!Thanks so much.

Needed a code reader for an airbag light and none of the local auto parts shops were able to do that. I called a shop and they wanted $125 to read and diagnose the code. For less than that I got a read that will do engine, ABS and airbag codes and tell me what the problem is. Now I have the reader and am able to diagnose codes on all of our cars. This tool was easy to setup, simple to use and extremely user-friendly.

The scanner is far better than the "budget" ones. It gave me access to my "SAS', air bag codes, as well as "pending" codes. Since my particular problems doesn't post a DTC, nor a pending code, it hasn't led me to the exact problem yet. This said, I wish I'd bought it first, before wasting $50 for one that I could have got codes read for free at a parts store.

I bought the AL619 specifically to diagnose a problem with the Supplemental Restraint System of my 2002 Toyota Avalon. The sales experience with Autel Direct was superb (I've given them a 5-star rating separately). I found the device easy to use, with well-written instructions. It took me just a few minutes to diagnose my problem (an airbag sensor) and to clear the trouble code. Now, to drive the car around a bit and see if the problem signal returns! Come what may, this device protected me from a repair shop being able to assert that I needed to replace an airbag. A sensor replacement is a heck of a lot cheaper! Having this also will enable me to avoid $100-a -pop charges for repair shop diagnoses, every time a check engine light comes on.

After doing some online research, decided on this AL619 code scanner. It has performed well, helping me retrieve the code for a "very small leak" in my Jeep's EVAP system and allowing me to turn off the Check Engine caution light. This has been an issue for many years and has always "solved itself" after a few days, but having the Check Engine caution light on for all that time was distracting. Now I can assure myself that the reason for the Check Engine light is not something more serious. The AL619 also quickly "read" our Crossfire information and it was good to know there were no "permanent" codes there. The AL619 is considerably more capable than I have current need for, but perhaps I will learn more in time. I have not been able to find a good reference book for beginner users such as myself. Another strong point for Autel was their customer support. Before purchasing, I had contacted them by email to get some questions answered. Their rep, Vanessa, was prompt and efficient in handling my inquiries and she followed up after my purchase to ensure all was ok.
