A Hellava lot better deal than Apple!
It took all of five minutes to install the new RAM which includes shutting down the computer and placing it on a towel to protect the screen (this is a 27" iMac, 2020 vintage). The instructions did not have the release button showing in the actual location, but it was pretty obvious where it was. The RAM chips did not lock in the first time I placed them, then I simply reversed them and they clicked right in. I pushed the locks back in place and closed the lid. Once the computer was upright I pushed the start button. My external drives lit up, but the computer did nothing for about 2 minutes. Then it began booting. The instructions on the Apple site did say that it took a couple of minutes for the computer to recognize the new RAM, so that was expected. Once the computer was fully booted I checked "About this computer/Memory" and it showed that the computer now had 32 GB of RAM. No problems noted, everything works well. Videos seem a bit richer, but I don't expect a lot of noticeable changes since 16 GB handles most basic processes. This RAM was about 1/3 the price of the RAM sold by Apple on its website, and is likely just as good.

Well worth the price!
Ordered and delivered in two days. Once received, I replaced two 4MB modules for my iMac with these two 16MB mods. World of difference. The swap out and replacement was very simple. If I can do it, you can do it. My iMac was moving like an old, tired plow horse. After I installed the two new mods, my iMac is now running as if Secretariat is running my computer now. HUGE difference.

Imac 2019 Saver
I have a 2019 IMac that kept randomly shutting down. I took it to the Apple Store and they confirmed it was a RAM failure and offered to repair it for nearly 300 bucks! Luckily this RAM card not only fixed the spontaneous shut down problem, it also improved my computer speed. Incredibly easy instal. Best $40 I ever spent.

Excellent - Saved Buying a New Mac!
I have an older 2019 27" IMac with I5 - 8MB (2x4MB). Just wanted to bump it up to 16MB for genreal household Mac use...nothing fancy or high requirement in our household. Installed myself in about 5 minutes which includes powering down, unplugging accessories, placing upside down and accessing slots. Putting everything back takes about 1 minute and then power it up. Be prepared for a slower start up the first time when you power the Mac up, but verything loaded just fine and now everying (mail, safari, messages, etc, etc) are lightening fast compared to what I had. Several 5-6 minute vids availalbe on YT to put your mind at ease that you can do it yourself.

I should have paid more, and got better. Buyer beware!
I have a new 27" iMac, with Apple's 8GB RAMBought A-Tech 2x8GB RAM1). On the day I picked up my iMac from the local Apple Store, the problems started. Apple's RAM was in slots 2 and 4 (4 being closest to iMac stand). The A-Tech RAM would not install in slots 1 and 3 (the iMac would not start up), so we had to move Apple's RAM to 1 and 3, and A-Tech's to 2 and 4. Strange.2). From Day One, this new iMac has had dozens of niggly little problems that my old 2011 24" iMac never had. Too many to mention, but here are a couple: (a) the sound levels slowly getting lower and lower and then disappearing; multiple restarts required to fix / (b) for no reason, the fans repeatedly coming on at full speed, making an appalling - and frankly, quite scary - noise.3). I have had to restart this new iMac more than all the other iMacs I ever ever owned combined together (and I've been buying them since the late 1980s!)4). Last week, I finally took out the A-Tech RAM and returned Apple's RAM to slots 2 and 4, then restarted.5). All of my niggling problems *instantly* disappeared. Computer - now with 8GB RAM - works like a dream, and somewhat surprisingly seems faster than when A-Tech RAM was installed and I was running it with 24GB RAM.6). In my case, buying cheap RAM was a terrible mistake. next time I will go for Crucial RAM.

iMac 2020 5K RAM 2x32gig is the Max
It works on my 2020 iMac 5K but only 2 x32 gig can be used for a max 64 gig not 128gig as Apple says in their docs.
