Used this on my trip to Hawaii.It was waterproof and washable (gentle cycle in washing machine).Fits 2 adults or bunch of kids comfortably.Only grip I had was using the stakes to pin the corners down- it was hard to put down into the sand (believe it or not!!)… I even accidentally bent one rod cus it wouldn’t go down- hence the 4 star review.It was easier and quicker to just just heavy items in the corners or some sand, see picture (used water bottles)

My son's school requested a small towel or blanket to eat lunch on with the social distancing and all. They go outdoors whenever possible. I knew a towel would get filthy and hold dirt, mulch etc. and didn't want to deal with that. This has it's own little drawstring pouch and could not be more lightweight. It's perfect. Adds no weight or bulk to his already heavy and full backpack. I washed it for the first time after several days of use. It had a few dirt marks and grass marks - a couple squirts of stain remover and it came out like new. I hung it up to dry on a trouser hanger (clips on either side). I washed it with a load of clothes. It did soften a bit after washing. Perfect for what we needed it for. We own three.

Bought this for its stated ease of carry and size. Glad to have it because it is super lightweight, easy to fold and carry around. My dog likes it, too-- to be frank, it is not strong enough to handle the clawing and gnawing of a puppy.If you are looking for a lightweight ground cover that you can carry around in your bag or car, this is a good choice. The blue is a nice shade and it is well sewn.If you are looking for a traditional blanket or something with a little heft to it, this is not for you.

I’m going to say that this really isn’t a blanket in my opinion. It is more like a waterproof tarp. I think this will be great when we are headed to the lake in the summer. We normally come home with very dirty towels and blankets from laying them on the “beach” and I’m looking forward to putting this down first. It comes with stakes to hold it in place and folds down into a small square. About 3 in wide and 5 inches long. It was easy to fold up and return to the included drawstring pouch. I think this will be good to cover items or people during those sudden rainstorms too. This is a welcome addition to our lake bucket.

Got this to take camping and hiking. I love that it's so lightweight and folds up small. Perfect for having a dry surface to sit on, or set your things down on. If ground is very wet, it does get moist on the top. Very easy to clean--just threw it in the washer!

In this tarps defense, it isn’t marketed for what i bought and used it for—which was as a rope tarp while rock climbing. I subjected it to gravel/sand/dirt (basically anything except sand, what it was made for) and therefore i have a few small holes after the second use. i’m sure it’s great on sand.

The product description says it folds to 5x4 inches. It’s actually about 8x5. I thought it would be pocket sized like it says, but it is not. Still small and lightweight, just not what I expected.

Its just so light, not so sure of its durability.
