Used in combination with Vitex Berry
I have used this product in combination with Vitex berry and have seen great results for hormonal imbalance. The results aren't immediately noticeable, however when I stopped taking it I was extremely tired again. You may need to take for a month or two before you notice a difference.

Excellent energy booster!
I heard about maca pills on Dr. OZ. So I tried this one to help me with my energy levels during the day.It works! It is a natural alternative to those unhealthy energy drinks. I am very happy with this product.Really thrilled that it is organic! One tip: take on empty stomach or between meals because it is more effective that way.

Horrible Side Effects
Herbs, especially those that work on hormones, affect everyone differently. I tried Maca (1 pill per day) for about a week, and then developed awful nausea and stomach pain. I stopped the Maca, and in about three days, the pain subsided. I tried taking it again a month later, thinking that the nausea and stomach pain may have been coincidental. I took one pill, and suffered from horrible nausea and even worse stomach pain that lasted several weeks. I even went to the doctor, fearing a stomach ulcer or gallbladder issues. Results of tests were normal. After nearly a month, the nausea and pain finally went away.I cannot speak for the herb's benefits, as the side effects were intolerable and overshadowed any possible positive health gains. I believe it does work for many people and is well-tolerated by most. I read that raw Maca often causes stomach problems, while gelatinized Maca (which is in Gaia's version) usually does not. Unfortunately, I seem to be the exception. I have used Gaia's Vitex for over six months and have experienced no negative side effects. I highly recommend Vitex for those suffering from menstrual irregularities and for those trying to conceive, but like Maca, it works to regulate hormones and can negatively affect some women.
