Born To Play Fireman Sam - Friction Fire Engine with Sam Figure

I really can't get down with all the negative reviews. This thing is no more chintzy or cheaply made than tonka plastic toys or anything else. Plus, I DARE you to find a toy fire engine with doors that open! That's a pretty big deal to a 3 year old. My son got about 28,492 toys for Christmas and this is hands down his favorite. He tries to take it to bed. It's also got a ladder that comes out and the boon or whatever it's called works quite well. Plus, IT DOESN'T MAKE NOISE! This is really a win-win toy.The same that comes with it is goofy. Buy the figure packs they sell on here. They're a smidge on the small side but they fit in the cab just fine.

My 3 year old grandson discovered Fireman Sam in the fall and talked for months about getting this firetruck for Christmas. It was the last gift he opened, and he was thrilled beyond words with this gift. I couldn’t find FS toys in stores locally, but of course found them on Amazon. Although it was shipped from the UK, it arrived very quickly. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that some of his other trucks have, but he loves it.

What a killer deal!! The shipping was WAY faster than I thought - getting here almost two weeks earlier than predicted! The Sam figuring is detailed and easy to get in and out of the truck. The bucket is sturdy and will withstand hours of playtime, I'm sure! The ladder on the back come out - which was a surprise for us!! My three year old about peed himself when he pulled the ladder out :) Of all of his MANY Christmas presents, this is his favorite thing. He hasn't put it down in days! I would buy this over and over again - it's a STEAL!!

It's coming from over seas trucks, boats, planes and more trucks and over many conveyor belts, through customs. Packing is apparent. And box looks as expected. Toy... reason for buying, is wonderful! Shipping took reasonable amount of time. Stinks there isn't tracking but I waited and it came. Thankful to buy fireman Sam in the USA. Can post back after they get firehouse and see if it fits and show actual house and truck i have. But I don't care if it doesn't fit I'll buy another truck. I got it so my second son has his own truck like his brothers.

My 3-year-old son absolutely loves Fireman Sam and specifically asked Santa for a Jupiter Truck this year. I like that it's non-electronic so he can take it into the bathtub with him if he wants or so I can clean it if I need to. It seems sturdy and has endured hours of play already. I am taking one star off because the ladder that come with the truck loosely slides into a slot in the firetruck and isn't secured in any way, so it's always falling out on it's own and getting lost when my son carries the firetruck around the house. It gets tiring when Mommy has to help him find the ladder a dozen times a day.

I had difficulty finding this product everywhere, so thankfully i was able to find it on Amazon. My nephew is a big fan of Fireman Sam, and went absolutely nuts when I gave him this toy. He was so excited to play and share with his brother (ages 4 and 2). I am very pleased with this product. Still holds up after a several months of play.

My son is a huge fan of Fireman Sam, so I purchased this toy for his 4th birthday. I was hesitant about purchasing the toy after reading other reviews about how long it took to receive the package from the seller and other shipment/packaging issues. It shipped early, so I was pleasantly surprised. However, I was shocked by how the seller chose to package the toy for delivery, especially for international delivery. As you can see, the original box for the toy is partially open. The package was wrapped in a single sheet of worn-out bubble wrap and brown paper. When my son and I took the toy out of the box, we found that the extension ladder of the fire engine was broken at its hinge. Since the toy is plastic, the hinge cannot be repaired, and it doesn't make sense to tape the ladder together. I am very disappointed since this was intended to be a birthday gift, and I can't find Fireman Sam toys in local toy stores. The toy itself is pretty neat as there are doors and other things to open, and the Fireman Sam figurine actually comes out of the driver's seat. I've contacted Amazon requesting a return of this item and waiting on a response.

Customers be aware of this. First of all this particular fire truck does not state anywhere that it does not fit into the fire station. It does not fit. The only way I know this is from an email from the company that states I ordered the wrong truck. Really? I think it’s false advertisingI think fireman Sam would be extremely disappointed

Bought it for a 3 year old child, was very happy with it.Quality wise, it's well built, doesn't feel cheap at all, looks much better than on the picture here. The size is also bigger than expected.The package is also great, this is genuine Fireman Sam Merchandise.Some people complain about the finnicky doors, and the figurine being difficult to cram inside the car. These complaints have merit to them, but are very minor, and caused only slight inconvenience to the child.A quality toy sure to bring joy to little Fireman Sam fanatics.

Bought this for my grandson for Christmas, it was well packaged. I haven't taken it out of the box, it's all wrapped in Christmas paper. It looks sturdy enough but will see how it stands up to a 3 1/2 year old playing with it over the Christmas period.

We bought this for our little boy who loves Fireman Sam.It broke almost immediately, during normal play. It is unbelievably low quality. It can’t stand up to even the gentlest play. This is even starker given the premium price.We expected it to be good quality as it was Fireman Sam branded. This is not the case.Do not buy this product. It’s a total waste of money. You can get much better toys with more functionality for less.

This toy really winds me up and the rescue jeep is the same. The figures don't fit at all well in the vehicles and they don't attach well to the platform. My son loves Fireman Sam and will be playing happily with this until he wants to change one of the figures then he gets frustrated that he cannot swap them over himself, he calls me to help and even I find it tricky! Also,for the price, I think it's disappointing that it doesn't have lights or sound effects.

It's a good price but a little cheap quality the mirrors broke within the week and the doors are a bit flimsy. The tower hose is good fun and the figure is sturdy.
