Not as UV as you may think, but they're a pretty purple nonetheless.
I bought these to use at work to help cashiers identify counterfeit bills. While they are strong enough to give SOME glow to flourescent strips, they aren't powerful enough to see without being in a dark room. They are now there to just have a presence at the registers, and keep cashiers on point with checking for counterfeits. If you want purple LED keychain lights, these are going to make you happy. If you wanted that awesome UV effect from the power of a keychain light, look elsewhere.UPDATE: While I haven't been using these how I originally intended to, these have become really nice in use for detailing and as a non-glare flashlight that doesn't blind you for the next 30 seconds after using them. I detail cars on the side in addition to being a c-store manager, and these are handy for making sure you don't miss any spots while shampooing as it shows (some) chemical as a different shade otherwise unable to be seen. I like to be thorough, and these ended up having an unintended purpose in my arsenal of random goodies. For the price, I see no reason not to buy a baggie and hand them out to friends. The remainder of those I don't use, are ending up as cool stocking stuffers for Christmas. :)

I used these for my Halloween costume!
These things were amazing for my steampunk Halloween costume. I mounted them to some steampunk goggles with coat hanger wire and pointed them towards my UV contact lenses. I bugged people out all night long. It was awesome.

Bright, pocket sized, great customer service
These work for veterinary medicine to show the 25% of plaque bacteria that naturally fluoresce red when exposed to a UV light. This shows the bacteria that will cause bone loss are present and can confirm our dental cleaning ability under anesthesia. One of the pack didn't work and LUMAND was fast at responding and replacing it and included a few extra. Great service. Great company!

Exceeded expectations.
These keychain UV lights have a much brighter light than expected. I have shared a number of them with friends and all are pleased with them. One friend commented about the quality of the switch saying that in most cheaply made electronics that the switch is usually the fatal flaw in products. I am very pleased with the keychains. Thank you.

NOTE - These are UV lights, not purple cases with white light!
Should have read the product description better as I did not realize these were UV lights. They are very bright and all worked flawlessly. I was extremely impressed with how well the switch worked as I have another brand of mini light where the switch does not function as well.Since I did not need the UV light and my other lights batteries had all dimmed out, I replaced the UV bulb in this light with the white bulb from my dead lights. Now I have a very bright white light and a great functioning switch!

Extremely useful
TL;DR: Great for identifying vintage glass that glows (like uranium glass) and working with UV resin.I originally bought these to give one to my mom. She collects vintage glass and some types glow under UV light. She used to carry a UV flashlight in her purse so she could identify whether or not it glows. Those flashlights are kind of bulky so she wouldn't always have it with her. Of course when you need it you don't have it. A keychain is far better since it's small and you always have it with you.I've adopted the rest for myself and I love them. I use UV resin a lot in my art and jewelry making. These aren't strong enough to fully cure a whole piece but they definitely have their uses! There are times you need something to cure slowly at the beginning to keep it from shrinking too much. These are perfect for that as they help prevent overheating. It'll harden the resin to the touch, though the surface will still be really sticky because it hasn't fully cured. By the time you move your piece to your UV lamp or into the sun your piece has cooled down enough that when it starts curing again it won't shrink as much as it might if you start with putting it directly under your lamp.It also works great when you need to quickly cure something small such as attaching something. Sometimes it's really hard to hold two pieces together and also grab your flashlight or maneuver it under your lamp. I found with these I can use the ring to hold it on one finger and then use another finger to press the button. This hardens the resin enough to hold the pieces together until you put it under your lamp or outside to finish curing. Just remember that UV light can't penetrate anything opaque so don't expect it to work like glue unless at least one of the things you are attaching is transparent. They also have a switch to keep it on indefinitely so you don't have to keep holding the button. I also like that you get more than one because I tend to lose small things a lot so this way I have plenty of backups.I like them so much I've recommended them to a UV group I am a part of.

perfect
perfect to have around . it’s on my keychain so i use it all the time opening my door or at night finding something. it’s better than pulling out your phone and use that . it has a flashlight mode and a strobe mode

Ok for a keychain light, not much else.
I intended on uaing these to detect counterfeit currency. I am only able to detect the security strip on the $50 bills. Not the $100s, $20s or $10s, including the colorized bills and the older white bills. I was able to see fluorescent security fibers in checks, though. I have a flash light that can detect the strips in all the before mentioned bills; I just think these lights aren't really powerful enough for this task, even when used in a dark environment. They will make great Halloween gifts though since the cost to return it is a dollar less than what I paid.
