Ideal for Bird watching ; however it needs a sturdy hand and a mobile device with a good camera to capture the image from the Monocular Telescope; I compared images from an old iPhone 4, 5, 6 and 7 and the 7 has much better images.The Blue tooth Shutter remote is really handy tool ; will post images soon.

The build quality is nice, strong, and feels good. Due to the lens being circular in the zoom piece the picture will also be limited to a circular picture as seen in the Amazon picture attachments. Of course, you could digitally zoom on the phone itself but this will lower the quality of the picture. I would recommend this accessory for a iPhone camera.Also, the phone mount fits my Samsung s8+ with a thin case. Something to consider for the bigger phone users.On the other hand, for a one eye telescope, it looks fantastic. I might still decide to use it for hiking trips to see things that my naked eye would have trouble seeing.

I seen a lot of these same ones sold by other sellers with good and bad reviews. Maybe I just got a bad one idk. The rubber eye piece came unattached upon opening. The claimed magnification WAY off to say the least! A lot of blur and shaking even on tripod.The cheap plastic that holds it on you phone does not keep it tight on your phone. If you try tightening to hard, you can slowly start to hear it crack. The scope is heavy and made my phone Note 9 fall over on table with tripod. Thank God it was a small tripod on table. I will be sending back. My note 9 has such nice resolution and 12 megapixels, I was able to enlarge a pic better than this monicular.

If you ever tried to take a picture with your phone into a microscope this is how it works. You need to zoom in on your phone's camera to get a full screen photo. The assembly holding your phone and the attachment to the monocular should have had more thought put into it. Continually falls off the monocular and you will not be able to tighten it. When tightening the eyepiece of the monocular to the phone attachment the inner lens fell out because the eye piece became unscrewed.

Just for using as a hand held small scope it is okay. I bought to use with my iphone. Cannot use this with the case on the phone. Also comes with no instructions so just had to use the picture as a guide. Picture of the product is not the one i received. Would not buy again.

My first criticism out of the box was the focus. After several weeks of use the Rear lens unscrewed and the inner optics fell out... I managed to re-assemble and it appears no worse for wear. I purchase this product based on the Ad. Wont do that again...

They didn't quite do what we needed done so we return them. For the price it's still a decent scope.
