The hand surgeon recommended I purchase this wrist brace and it works amazing.I definitely notice the pain is less when I wake up in the morning after wearing it overnight. When I forget, I have more pain in the base of the thumb joint throughout the day for sure.It's stable without being stiff, it's comfortable, and I can wash it when it gets dirty.It's a great design. Much better than other wrist braces that used to hurt my wrist, they were so stiff.In terms of size, I used the chart and it's a perfect fit. Highly recommend.

Exactly what I ordered and delivered promptly! What more could I ask for? I wore this brace for about 5 years before I had to give in and have carpal tunnel surgery and I expect I will have the same relief on my other hand with it… but this time I was able to purchase it myself (after seeing the doctor) without going through insurance. Price was reasonable, delivery prompt. I am happy!

These help a lot. I like the compression and the fact that it is adjustable. They provide enough support to prevent pain at the end of the day.Also, be thoughtful about how you put them on. I ruined three sweaters with the velcro before I figured out how to put them on using a hard surface instead of my body to rest the brace against.Finally, this is my second pair. The part that wraps around the thumb wears out first. On the first pair, the Velcro stopped working after many trims. This pair is a few weeks old and the wrap around part in my right hand fell apart. The Velcro part separated from the band. Very frustrated about that. See pictures from other reviews

I was a little hesitant to buy this because of the price, it's fairly expensive considering the other thumb protector I also bought on Amazon that was only $10 (Reversible Thumb & Wrist Stabilizer - which is also very good BTW.) That said, this one is clearly higher end, very good quality soft neoprene like material, soft and gentle feeling. Better thumb support. Surprisingly, as much as it wraps around your thumb it's not bulky and is very comfortable. It leaves more of the palm exposed than any other of the 4-5 thumb holders I have. I have thumb arthritis -the joint at the base of my thumb can be painful, it swells, it gets red, sometimes difficult to do simple tasks like opening jars, etc. and this is great. It' can't solve my problem but it sure makes me forget about it. It may look slightly bulky and does have an extra strap that comes from the wrist, goes around the thumb and Velcro's back at the wrist BUT that slight "extra" strap is slim & adds just a teeny bit of extra bulk really isn't noticed and doesn't hinder movement in anyway - the material is so soft, you don't notice, it just gives more protection and support which is great. Highly recommend overall!I do agree with the questions of some other reviewers about the fact that it tells you to measure the palm of your hand at the knuckles and yet, there is nothing around your knuckles. It wraps at the wrist. So yeah, odd that they have you measure the knuckle width as opposed to the wrist however it fit me perfect! On that note, the width of my palm came out to 7 ¼" so I ordered the 7-8" medium - I probably could have ordered the 7 ¼" - 8 ¼" medium as well. FYI my particular wrist is fairly tiny, just 6" so if I had a bigger wrist then maybe you'd want to order a size upI f you're in-between sizes or close, I'd go the size up.

Comfortable and perfect size. Well made would buy again. My only complaint was the delivery! I was suppose to get this the next day and it arrived three days later! So next time I’ll just buy from a medical store and not thru Amazon

I've purchased 3 times from Amazon. Be aware that the size chart is a joke. Those small increment distinctions are a fantasy. I measure squarely in the "medium" range yet Medium size velcro barely overlaps enough to hold.The first purchase lasted well and fit decently. I lost it when it was left behind after a hospital stay.The second one fell apart almost immediately. I tried gluing the strap back together but that quickly failed. (photo).The third, package opened last night, is a struggle to overlap enough this keep on, and the thumb strap is quite short.In Summary: I've put up with the poor manufacturing standards because it does offer pain relief, however, I'll look for a better quality product to spend my money on from now on.

The item is very good and does what it is meant to do. I had to return it because it was too small. Even though I took the measurements as specified and ordered the size as per the chart it was too small.
