Very easy to use and mount.

Cable spaghetti everywhere thanks to the previous manager of my data closet. They employed zero cable management, and this was my first stop. Love the ease of use of this and how clean and sleek it looks. Does exactly what I needed it to.

Accidently bought 1 u short wire management. Bought this guy after learning that lesson.Material is suprisingly good, Metal back, thick plastic fingers and the front cover is easy to install/remove.Can even store some wire in here instead of having to find space inside of the rack to manage it.

When I purchased this, the description said it had 24 slots. The picture shows 24 slots. When I received it, there are only 16 slots. When your patch panels and switches have 24 ports going across, you need either 12 or 24 slots for cables. Why do you even make a 16-slot cable manager? I really wanted 24 slots so I was very disappointed. The seller has since edited the description and removed the number of slots, although they kept the same photos up.Also, this is metal, which makes it very difficult to put on and take off the cover for the face of it. This I expected because the description does say it's metal, plus you can't manufacture a 24-slot manager out of plastic because the fingers will break too easily. But since this did not have 24 slots, it does not need to be made out of metal.All in all, I was not happy with this purchase. Usually the branded Chinese products like StarTech are much more consistent than the generic Chinese products. But in this case, I'll switch back to the cheap ones.

Needs to be packaged better. Arrived with several of the "fingers" broken. With the cover on, you really can't tell that much, and it still works pretty well for the most part. One thing I really liked was the openings that allowed me to stuff extra cable back behind this unit. And with that cover on, you can't see the extra cable stuffed back there. The end result is that the patch panel and switch are now on the wall and look amazingly clean.
