Buyer beware. This regulator solenoid does not shut off CO2. Soon as the product arrived, I read the instructions and installed the regulator on my 5lb CO2 tank. Right out the box, the solenoid was faulty and does not shut off the CO2. I then waited for over 4 hours to see if the bubbles in the bubble counter would stop. It did not. I then tried uninstalling the regulator and double checking my fittings. That did not solve the problem. I have to manually turn off the bubble counter for the bubbles to stop. I did a leak test. There were no leaks. Since my aquarium is still cycling, I have no livestock except for plants. Should I continue to use this regulator, IT WILL KILL MY LIVESTOCK. The instructions are very basic and provide no problem solving. There are some grammatical errors in the instructions and the instructions provide no pictures for reference. There is an Allen Key provided but no instructions on how or where to use this tool. Obviously, the durability of this product is simply not there. The accuracy, it may be accurate but it is very difficult to determine since the solenoid is faulty right out the box. The fit is perfect. Sadly, there are videos and reviews from others that have the same issue. Since some have this problem while others do not, you purchase this product on a gamble that perhaps yours may work. *****Update******* Change 1 star to 5 star. I was able to find a YouTube video by FZone Studios that shows how to take apart the solenoid to adjust the spring. Once I followed what the video instructed, the solenoid now works perfectly. What the video recommends is to take apart the solenoid, check for dirt/dust, unscrew the 2 screws to release the plate, then check the spring and stretch the spring a little bit. Reinstall the plate and solenoid and test to see if the solenoid shuts off the CO2. Once I did this, the CO2 shuts off within 5-10 minutes as the seller stated. The product works perfectly now.

So when I first got this regulator it worked really well and I liked it then when I got my co2 tank refilled recently for whatever reason I came home to it not functioning properly and I didn’t realize it till the next day it didn’t shut my co2 off with the timer like it usually would and nuked my entire shrimp colony at first I thought it was the timer so I got a different timer when using a different timer didn’t fix it that’s when I realized the regulator was the problem so I unplugged it from the timer and it didn’t stop bubbling even with no power going to it so I started removing the hose so it can’t inject anything when I wanted it off and reattaching when I wanted it on and thought I found a solution well it stopped coming on entirely as of last week and that’s when I realized it had a 1 yr warranty since it was past the return date for Amazon so I emailed and messaged fzone on messenger to see which would be better to contact them from and they went above and beyond to help me they said they sent a replacement regulator out and even gonna send some free root tabs as a small gift and I really appreciate it I have no complaints with this company

I was honestly expecting issues based on some of the reviews—lots of people mentioned leaks—but that hasn’t been my experience at all. I’ve had this FZONE CO2 regulator running on my planted tank for a week now and the seal’s been completely solid. No hissing, no pressure loss, nothing. It’s holding a stable output and the fine control on the needle valve is better than I expected, especially for dialing in low bubble rates. One thing that caught me off guard is that it doesn’t come with any CO2-proof tubing. That feels like a bit of a miss. I already had some on hand from a previous setup, but if this is your first regulator, just know you’ll need to buy that separately. Not a dealbreaker, but something I wish was clearer upfront. All in all, if you’re careful with the setup and you use proper tubing, this regulator delivers. Solid build, no leaks, smooth output. I’d use it again on another tank without hesitation. Pros: – No leaks – Holds pressure well, even at low bubble rates – Solid build quality and smooth needle valve adjustment -Nice design Cons: – Doesn’t include CO2-proof tubing – Instructions could be clearer for beginners, including timing (be sure to turn off your co2 when the lights are off)

A good value for the dollar. I couldn't be happier with my purchase! The positives: -The adjustable valve allows me to adjust the flow of gas -The valves are accurate enough -The solinoid functions -Doesn't leak The negatives: -The seal where it connects to the tank likes to fall out. Maybe grease it? -The stock PSU is terrible but I got one that works now so that's a win in my book! Could you do better? Sure. For the price? Just buy this!

I was very excited for this product. Reading on the company website and through the reviews here, I was excited as it seemed people were generally satisfied and the company cared about putting a good product out there. I plugged the device into a timer. I tested a couple times and could hear the valve opening and closing as I added and removed power. Unfortunately, the valve does not close and CO2 continued to be released into the tank after power disconnect. Additionally, there is no way to adjust the output/working pressure. I was hoping to adjust to about 25 PSI but on my brand new tank the working PSI was around 48-50. Much too high. I am returning this for a similar product from a better manufacturer. The price is double, but I am hoping it solves my problems.

hi i bought the FZONE Aquairum 12V DC Solenoid for Aquarium CO2 Generator with Bubble Counter and Power Adaptor but after connecting i discovered it had a small leak on the solenoid, after contacting the seller a very kind lady called Brianna promptly handled my problem by sending out a replacement which worked just fine.This Solenoid/Bubble Counter/Power Adaptor may not be the best in the world but for the price and excellent customer service?(brianna) you cant go far wrong.

Valvola completa di contabolle da usare in uscita ad un sistema di erogazione (creazione) di CO2. Il contabolle è abbastanza facilmente regolabile. L'elettrovalvolva ha un cavetto connettorizzato che si alimenta a 12V con un alimentatore indipendente compreso nella fornitura. Io lo sto utilizzando pilotato da un sistema autocostruito che consente di spegnere ed accendere l'erogazione d CO2 in base a parametri preimpostabili. Per il momento, tutto funziona correttamente. Vedremo con il tempo. A dire il vero l'elettrovalvola è alquanto minuscola e, almeno la parte esterna visibile, è in plastica.

La válvula es muy compacta, y tiene conexión rápida del cableado para facilitar su montaje, desmontaje y mantenimiento. Me dió un pequeño problema pero el vendedor me dió asistencia muy rápidamente y todo genial.
